East London Optometry was founded in London, Ontario in 1980 by Dr. John Astles. It has been providing excellence in eye and vision care for Londoners for more than 36 years. Today we have five optometrists and phenomenal staff all working together to best serve our patients.

Blepharitis is a common condition that causes inflammation of the eyelids leading to increased risk for styes and dry eye disease. Treatment options include lid hygiene, hypochlorous acid spray, tea tree oil treatment, heated compresses, and more advanced options like IPL. We offer many of these products in office for your convenience. Avoid wearing makeup when possible. Cleaner makeup options include Ilia mascara, Eyes are the Story gel liner, and Kosas concealer. Contact your local optometrist for more information.

It’s Back to School Time again… don’t forget to book your child’s eye exam! Thanks to my co-workers who let me make them look a bit crazy by changing the questions to their answers for a more back to school inspired video. My original questions were
