Funny how we’ll spend a year planning a wedding down to the napkin color, but the day we give birth - the one that genuinely rewires our whole life - we’re told to just “go with the flow.” 😅

Birth trauma isn’t only about emergencies or interventions. So much of it comes down to one question: did you feel informed, supported, and heard? That’s the exact gap a doula is trained to fill - continuous emotional support that lowers anxiety, real-time help understanding your options so you stay in the driver’s seat, and trauma-informed care built around your choices.

The research is clear: doula care is associated with more positive birth experiences and a lower risk of postpartum PTSD. 🧬

Aunt Janet’s Chardonnay toast will fade. How you felt bringing your baby into the world can linger.

There’s a reason babywearing has its own whole section in my The Newborn Days workshop. 👶

When people picture the newborn stage, they think feeding and sleep. But so much of those early weeks comes down to one thing: keeping your baby close. Babywearing isn’t a “nice to have” - it’s one of the simplest tools you’ve got for a calmer baby and a calmer you. It supports feeding cues, regulates their little nervous system, frees you up to actually live your life, and gives you back that skin-to-skin closeness on the hard days.

I wore my babies for everything, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. The weight of them on my chest, falling asleep to the same heartbeat they knew before they were born - that’s the stuff nobody warns you you’ll miss.

So consider this your sign: wear your baby. You truly cannot spoil a baby with love 🤍

Want to feel ready for those first newborn days before they arrive? I’m running The Newborn Days workshop on July 25th - where we cover babywearing, feeding, soothing, and everything that makes those early weeks feel less like survival mode and more held. Babywearing earns its spot because it’s the one tool that supports almost all of it at once - calmer baby, free hands, and that closeness your newborn is wired to crave.

🚨 Wait… you can get a $400-1000+ baby carrier for FREE?! 👀 YUP.

Okay hear me out: Artipoppe has a Referral Rewards Programme, and if you play it right, you can earn enough credits to cover the cost of one of these gorgeous carriers. I’ve done it myself. I kept the carrier and made money. For realz.

Full Transparency:
✨ This is not sponsored by or affiliated with Artipoppe in any way. This is just me, sharing my own personal experience.
⚠️ There is some risk involved. To earn credits, you’ll need to purchase your 1st carrier (any carrier, wrap or ring sling) and actively share your referral code, which means putting yourself out there and having people actually use it. It’s not a guaranteed win for everyone.

💸 PSA ‼️ I would NEVER encourage you to spend money you don’t have to spend. Artipoppe is a luxury product with a luxury price tag ($400-1000+), and that is simply not accessible for everyone, nor should it be. There are SO many incredible carriers on the market that won’t cost you a mortgage payment.
But if you’ve been eyeing one of these beauties and want to know how the referral programme works? This one’s for you. 🤌

Drop any questions below or COMMENT “AP” if you’d like a link for €50 off your first carrier.
