Nothing means more than hearing directly from our clients!

Our podiatrist, Dr. Caroline Leverett, recently received a thoughtful thank-you note recognizing her care and dedication to her patients.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to all of our clients who take the time to share their experiences, whether through a personal note, a Google review, or a Facebook recommendation. Your kind words mean a great deal to our team, and we are truly grateful for your trust, support, and for allowing us to be part of your healthcare journey.

Hurricane season officially begins today and ends on November 30th.
Here are some important reminders for our home oxygen users to make sure you’re ready.

1- Check your backup oxygen tank to make sure it is full.
2- If you have a generator to use in the event of a power outage, make sure it is in working order and that you have gas to run it.
3- Keep our phone number (Family 1st Medical: 1-800-565-2021) close by so you can call us when your power goes out. If you need assistance to call us, please ensure you have a neighbour or friend lined up to help you. It is very important to let us know as soon as your power goes out so we can continue to effectively manage your care.

Everyone should make sure they have:
1- A personal support network set up - at least 3 people you know and trust who could help you during an emergency.
2- Enough supplies to be self-sufficient for at least 72 hours. These supplies should include water, non-perishable foods, a manual can opener, extra batteries, a first aid kit, personal hygiene items, and a power bank/portable charger for your phone.
3- A minimum of a week’s supply of prescription medications
