Dori is a Registered Social Worker, speaker, and educator, who has dedicated her career to creating Neurodiversity-Affirming mental health opportunities for autistic people across the lifespan.

She offers training based on her clinical expertise, centered around her INVEST model, which provides a Neuro-Affirming framework for counselling. She is deeply committed to fostering autism acceptance, and actively contributes to expanding the understanding of autism through publications, workshops, research collaborations, and corporate consultations.

Dori is excited to take on a new leadership position with the National Autism Network where she will be co-chairing the Strategic Priority Area 4 Committee: Public Awareness, Understanding, & Acceptance.

Today's Peer Consultation sessions was so rich. We discussed client cases (anonymized of course), and particular themes in clinical work such as interpersonal trauma, shame and perfectionism through a neuroaffirming INVEST lens.

At the end the therapists both said how fantastic it was and they wished they could meet weekly!

So my question is - would you want to join a peer consultation group? A safe space where you can be your authentic unmasked self to deepen your understanding of neuroaffirming care?

Jennie Stewart, Intake Coordinator
Jennie joined Dori Zener & Associates Inc. in March 2025. She is a graduate of the Law Clerk and Medical Office Administration programs at St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario. Jennie draws on her education and nearly 10 years of administrative experience to bring compassion and expertise to the workplace.
She has a passion for the small gestures that can brighten someone’s day, both in the office and in her personal life.

Erin Dekker, Job Coach, Executive Functioning Coach, Navigating Work Facilitator

Erin is dedicated to a strengths-based approach towards empowering neurodivergent individuals in the workplace, with a focus on environmental adaptation and self-advocacy. Their collaborative and adaptive approach is deeply informed by their personal journey as a neurodivergent person.

Their late-discovered autistic and ADHD identity sparked a passion for exploring the interactions between neurodivergence and the environment. With years of experience in human resources, recruitment, training, policy development, and research, Erin has worked for industries such as media, manufacturing, non-profit, education, retail, and recreation.

Erin has expanded their practice into executive functioning coaching for adults (ADHD diagnosis not required).

We are pleased to introduce Erin as part of our neuroaffirming team.
