Dementia doesn't just affect the person living with the diagnosis-it impacts entire families.
FirstLight Home Care North York was proud to be a partner and exhibitor at the screening of "No More Silent Battles". It was an afternoon that brought together caregivers, healthcare professionals, advocates, and community members to learn, share, and have important conversations about dementia.
A big thank you to Amy Altwerger from People Ops Collective and the organizers for bringing this event to the community and for your dedication to raising awareness and supporting families affected by dementia. Thank you as well to moderator Alexandra Piatkowski and the incredible panel:

The discussion highlighted the challenges families face, the importance of better support for people living with dementia, and the need to continue raising awareness in our communities.
At FirstLight Home Care North York, we've had the privilege of supporting many families on their dementia journey. Every family's experience is different, but one thing remains the same: no one should have to navigate it alone.
