Aram Institution grew from my experience working with marginalized individuals, youth, and families. Over time, I saw that many people needed more than traditional therapy alone — they also needed practical guidance, life skills, confidence, and support navigating parenting, anxiety, major life changes, and adapting to a new environment.

That experience shaped my vision for Aram: to bring therapy and coaching together, supporting both emotional well-being and the practical skills people need to move forward in life.

Trauma doesn’t always stay in the past.

It can quietly shape the way we think, feel, love, trust, and respond to the world around us. It may show up as anxiety, overthinking, difficulty setting boundaries, fear of abandonment, emotional numbness, or constantly being in survival mode.

Healing doesn’t mean forgetting what happened. It means understanding how those experiences have affected you, learning healthier ways to cope, and slowly creating a life that is no longer controlled by the pain of the past.

Your trauma may be part of your story, but it does not have to define your future. 🌿

Abuse is not always visible.
It can appear as humiliation, control, threats, silent treatment, manipulation, isolation, or repeatedly dismissing someone’s feelings. Invisible wounds can still be deep, painful, and long-lasting.

Trust what you are feeling. No relationship should take away your safety, confidence, or peace.

Abuse isn’t always visible, but its impact is real.

How Can We Change Negative Emotions?

A technique called "Opposite Action" suggests that when an emotion pushes you toward an unhealthy behavior, consciously do the opposite.

Steps:

1. Identify the emotion.
Ask yourself: “What exactly am I feeling right now?”

2. Find your automatic reaction.
What is this emotion urging you to do? Run away, stay silent, become angry, or withdraw?

3. Do the opposite.

Fear: Take one step forward.

Anger: Speak more calmly.

Sadness: Connect with others.

Shame: Stand tall and speak up.

4. Repeat.
Change does not happen overnight. Every time you practice, you help your brain build a new and healthier pattern.

Living with a narcissist can leave you feeling emotionally exhausted, unseen, and constantly questioning yourself. Over time, you may find yourself walking on eggshells, apologizing for things that aren't your fault, or sacrificing your own needs just to keep the peace.

Common experiences include: • Feeling constantly criticized or devalued. • Having your emotions dismissed or minimized. • Being blamed for problems you didn't cause. • Feeling isolated, anxious, or losing confidence in yourself.

You deserve relationships built on respect, empathy, and emotional safety. Recognizing unhealthy patterns is the first step toward healing and setting healthy boundaries.

💙 You are not alone. Support is available, and healing is possible.
