Supporting veterans and military families is more than a professional commitment for me—it's personal.
Growing up as an army brat, I experienced firsthand the unique realities of military family life: the moves, the separations, the uncertainty, and the resilience that military families develop along the way. My father served in the Royal Canadian Air Force for more than 20 years, completing six tours during his career. His service, sacrifice, and dedication shaped my understanding of both the strengths and challenges faced by those who serve and the families who support them.
Today, I am proud to announce the opening of our Pembroke location, expanding access to mental health services for veterans, active service members, first responders, and their families throughout the Ottawa Valley and surrounding communities.
Military life can leave lasting impacts on individuals and families alike. Whether navigating transitions to civilian life, managing operational stress injuries, coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or simply seeking support during difficult times, you do not have to face these challenges alone.
Our goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and professional space where veterans and military families feel understood, respected, and supported.
To all those who have served—and to the families who have served alongside them—thank you. It is an honour to be able to give back to a community that has had such a profound impact on my own life.
Warmly,
