The rain may have crashed the party, but it certainly didn’t stop us from having an amazing time at our Annual Riverstone Friends & Family BBQ!

A HUGE shoutout and heartfelt thank you to Stirling Park Retirement team for graciously opening their doors and hosting all 11 homes after Mother Nature decided not to cooperate with us! A special thank you also goes out to our incredible staff and volunteers who helped make the day run smoothly.

Despite the weather, the day was filled with laughter, delicious food, great company, and lots of fun. It was a wonderful opportunity to see old friends, make new ones, and celebrate the amazing Riverstone community we’re so lucky to be part of.

And of course, we can’t forget that some of our residents went home as lucky winners!

Rain or shine, we know how to make memories together!

What a beautiful summer evening at our Sunset Concert!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening to gather together on our beautiful 5th floor patio to enjoy some wonderful music, and watch the sun slowly set. Our residents, families, and friends came together to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere, and we were so lucky to have the incredibly talented Roxy Swan entertaining us for the evening!

It was one of those evenings that reminds us just how special summer can be. Good music, beautiful scenery, wonderful people, and a sunset that seemed to go on forever

Today was all about celebrating the incredible people who give so much of themselves to our community.

A huge, heartfelt thank you to each and every one of our community, student, and resident volunteers. Your time, kindness, compassion, and willingness to show up and make a difference mean more than words can truly express.

Whether you spend your time sharing a smile, lending a helping hand assisting with programs, take care of our beautiful garden, keep our library organized, run our tuck shop, or simply bring a little extra joy to someone’s day, you make a difference.

Today, we hope you felt just how valued, appreciated, and loved you truly are.Thank you for being part of our community and for reminding us that sometimes the smallest acts of kindness can leave the biggest impact. ❤️

We are incredibly grateful for each and every one of you!

🇬🇷💙 OPA! It’s Greek Fest at Rosepark! 💙🇬🇷

Today we brought the sights, sounds, flavours, and spirit of Greece right to Rosepark! We kicked off our celebrations with a wonderful Armchair Travel adventure through Greece, taking a virtual journey to some of the country’s most beautiful and popular destinations. From stunning coastlines and historic landmarks to charming villages and iconic sights, our residents enjoyed travelling through Greece without ever leaving their seats!

After our morning adventure, it was time to celebrate with a delicious Greek-themed lunch and w**e! Our residents enjoyed great food, wonderful company, and plenty of smiles as we continued our Greek Fest celebrations.

It was the perfect way to spend the day
learning, exploring, reminiscing, and enjoying a little taste of Greek culture together. 💙🤍

Memory Care Moments:🍑Just Peachy Social 🍑

Our residents enjoyed a delightful Just Peachy Social filled with sweet peach-inspired treats! Everyone had the chance to enjoy a variety of peach-flavoured goodies, including peach yogurt parfaits and delicious peach ice cream.
It was a lovely afternoon filled with smiles, conversation, and, of course, lots of peachy goodness!

🎒✨ THAT’S A WRAP ON AN AMAZING FILL A BACKPACK FUNDRAISING WEEK! ✨🎒

What a fun-filled week of giving back! We are so excited to have supported such a wonderful cause and helped kids head back to school on the right foot!

Throughout the week, we brought the school spirit with fun activities like Classroom Jeopardy, Back-to-School Photos, School Snack Memory Café, Crafting for a Cause, and so much more!

And the results are something to celebrate! Together, we raised $565 and collected more than 130 school supply items, including backpacks, pencils, erasers, notebooks, and other essential supplies.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who donated, participated, volunteered, and helped make this week such a success! Every donation, big or small, will help make a difference for a child heading into a new school year.

We laughed, we played, we got creative, we gave back and most importantly, we made a difference!

☀️ Soaking Up the Sun!☀️

Our second-floor walking group has been making the most of the beautiful summer weather with our weekly walks through our wonderful outdoor city park space! We’re moving, chatting, enjoying the fresh air, and making the most of our community surroundings, and we’re proud to say we’ve walked about 15 km together over the past month!

Here’s to sunshine, fresh air, good company, and plenty more kilometres to come!

🍦 Sundaes, Smiles & Summer Vibes!☀️

Our residents had a fantastic time creating their own ice cream sundaes, sharing laughs, and enjoying a refreshing treat on a warm summer day. From picking their favourite toppings to enjoying every delicious bite, it was an afternoon full of smiles, sweet moments, and great company.

Waterfront views, delicious food, and wonderful company, what more could you ask for?

Our afternoon lunch outing at Canal Ritz was the perfect way to soak up summer! We enjoyed a fantastic meal overlooking the beautiful Rideau Canal while sharing plenty of laughs, stories, and smiles.

After enjoying a delicious lunch, we headed out for a scenic drive through the beautiful surrounding area and along the Rideau Canal.
