LiquidGym LiquidGym offers physiotherapy and hydrotherapy services, athletic therapy, kinesiology, registered

Open since November 6, 2013, LiquidGym Rehab and Training Centre is the first of its kind in Canada, with hydrotherapy and hydrotraining under one roof and available to the general public. We offer:
- Physiotherapy services with both land and water therapy protocols.
- Hydrotraining - water-based physical training using underwater treadmills and underwater bikes
- AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill - the only one in Ottawa
- Functional movement rehab machines
- Interactive software gaming system for active rehab sessions

Our Target Market...
- individuals who require physiotherapy and rehabilitation services
- individuals involved in sport and fitness training
- individuals with specific needs due to a medical condition

Monday-Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm
Saturday: Closed
Sunday: Closed
Closed on all statutory holidays

CLINIC UPDATE:

We’re getting ready to welcome you back!

After many months of uncertainty following the water main break that closed our clinic in November 2025, we are excited to finally be able to share some good news.

LiquidGym is getting ready to reopen in a new location and begin seeing our patients again!

Our next chapter will look a little different, but our commitment to providing the care and services our patients have come to know remains the same.

We will be offering both land-based and aquatic therapy services as we move forward.

We are currently finalizing the details and will be sharing more information shortly, including where services will be provided and when appointments will begin.

We have a temporary clinic location in Bells Corners while repairs are taking place at LiquidGym. This is for land based care.

Plantar fasciitis pain tips you should hear:

✨ Start your day gently → Light foot & calf stretches before your first steps.
✨ Roll it out → Frozen water bottle, tennis ball, or massage ball under your arch.
✨ Support your feet → Shoes with good arch support or orthotics (skip the flats!).
✨ Stretch & strengthen → Regular calf stretches + foot exercises help long-term.
✨ Rest smart → Swap high-impact activities for swimming, biking, or low-impact moves.
✨ Ice after activity → 10–15 mins on the heel/arch to calm irritation.

Form First Fridays: Split Squat 🔥

Here’s how to nail your form step by step:
1️⃣ Start with feet shoulder-width apart, toes forward
2️⃣ Step one leg forward, back heel lifted
3️⃣ Push hips back slightly, bend both knees
4️⃣ Keep your front knee in line with your toes
5️⃣ Lower slowly until your back knee nearly touches the floor
6️⃣ Press through your front heel and drive back up tall
