The deadline for symposium, instructional course and technical track proposals for the ISPO 21st World Congress 2027 is 29 June 2026, 23:59 UTC.

If you are planning to contribute to the congress programme, now is the time to review the guidelines and prepare your submission.
Whether you want to lead a broader discussion, share practical teaching or present hands-on fabrication expertise - there is a format for your contribution.

Accepted submitters will be notified by 28 August 2026.
Presenter registration deadline: 28 September 2026.

We are pleased to announce Sandra Ramdial as the Day 2 Opening Keynote Speaker for the inaugural Orthotics, Prosthetics & Rehabilitation Conference (OPRC) 2026.

With over 35 years of experience, Sandra is one of the most respected voices in prosthetics and orthotics today. During her time as Operations Manager of the Prosthetic and Orthotic Department at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, she led a team of specialists delivering exceptional, life-changing client care. Her career also includes influential roles at Ottobock, where she managed the Custom Silicone Group and served as a clinical ambassador for upper limb prosthetics.

Her leadership extends to professional associations, having served as the president of both the Canadian Association of Prosthetics & Orthotics and ISPO Canada, and as the secretary-treasurer for the Association of Children’s Prosthetic-Orthotic Clinics.

Currently, she is the President for the International Board of ISPO, underscoring her ongoing commitment to the advancement of the field. Sandra is renowned not only for her extensive experience but also for her passion for research, development, and the incorporation of new technologies in prosthetics and orthotics.

We can't wait for her to open Day 2 of OPRC 2026 - and we hope you're as excited as we are to hear from her.

📣 CALL FOR PAPERS IS NOW OPEN 📣

ISPO invites you to contribute to the programme of the 21st World Congress in Bangkok, Thailand.

Submission deadlines:
- June 29, 2026 for proposals for symposia, instructional courses and technical track presentations
- September 7, 2026 for abstracts for free papers and posters and the 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) student competition

Early career researchers and students are especially encouraged to participate actively in the Congress.
