Some places just feel like home. ❤️
And when those places are created by family… well, that makes them even more special.
This summer, we spent some pretty beautiful time at the restaurant at the Picton Golf Course, and I just have to give the biggest shout-out to my cousin Steve and my cousin-by-love, Jenny. 🥰
Fun little family fact: Jenny and I actually used to hang out before she and Steve got together. She was a friend first, then became family — and I honestly couldn’t love that story more. ❤️
So watching the two of them create such a beautiful place together at the Picton Golf Course just feels really special.
And it’s not just the food — although… LOOK at some of these dishes! 😍🍴
It’s the whole experience.
The water views.
The sunsets.
The beautiful setting.
The welcoming staff.
The laughter around the table.
The long summer evenings with family.
That feeling of being somewhere that has heart.
There’s always been something about the places Jenny and Steve create that feels warm, welcoming and full of love. And I think that’s what I appreciate most.
I’m at a point in my life where I’m becoming much more intentional about where I spend my time, my energy and my money. I want to be around people and places that feel GOOD. High-vibe. Genuine. Welcoming. Places where you can feel the care and love that goes into creating something.
And this place has that feeling. ✨
Picton has always been such a special part of my summers and my family memories, and getting to make new memories here with family — while watching my the fam create something beautiful together — is pretty damn special.
Jenny & Steve… I’m so proud of you both. ❤️
Here’s to beautiful summer nights, delicious food, sunsets over the water, family, friendship, community and supporting the people who put their hearts into what they do.
So much love for this place.
And so much love for you two. ❤️🌅🍴
A few of my favourite summer food moments… because obviously I had to document those too. 😉
