🕊Meet Jing Lou, Acupunctuist 🕊

Jing was drawn to her field by a desire to share her knowledge with others and bring the wisdom of Eastern healing traditions into the lives of her patients. What she loves most about her work is helping people slow down, reconnect with themselves, and explore a more natural and mindful approach to their health and wellbeing.

✨Specialties: Jing’s approach to care is rooted in acupuncture and Eastern wellness practices, with a particular interest in herbalism, aromatherapy, meditation, inner yoga, and spiritual wellness. She believes that creating space for relaxation, connection and awareness can be an important part of supporting the body through its healing journey.

Jing takes a gentle, individualized approach, encouraging her patients to reconnect with their bodies and trust in their own capacity for healing. For her, care begins by creating an environment where patients can feel safe, supported and able to relax. She often encourages simple practices such as stretching, meditation, spending time outdoors and connecting with nature as ways to support wellbeing between appointments.

🌿Outside of the clinic, Jing loves walking in the forest, practicing yoga, spending time with her parents and playing with her child. Her favourite ways to stay grounded include stretching and prayer, and a mantra that resonates with her is: “Just for today, I will give thanks, will not worry, and will do my work honestly.”

🤓Fun fact: Jing says her sense of humour might be something patients don’t expect!

📍Offer services from our Stittsville location in English, French & Mandarin languages.

🪄Meet Alexandra Layer, Physiotherapist!🪄

Alex’s interest in physiotherapy began while working as a research assistant in the Urogynecology Research Lab at the University of Sherbrooke. Working alongside a pelvic health physiotherapist and contributing to urogynecology research sparked her passion for pelvic floor rehabilitation and showed her just how much physiotherapy can impact someone’s health, confidence, and everyday life.

✨Specialties: Alex has a keen interest in women’s health and orthopaedics, with a strong focus on exercise and strength-based rehabilitation. She loves helping people feel stronger, move with more confidence, and return to the activities that are important to them. She also especially enjoys working with older adults, supporting them in maintaining their strength, mobility, independence, and quality of life as they age.

💡Her Approach: Alex believes physiotherapy should meet you where you are. Her approach is practical, individualized, and centred around your goals, whether that means reducing pain, building strength and mobility, or getting back to meaningful activities. She focuses on creating realistic strategies that can actually fit into everyday life while helping patients feel supported and confident throughout their recovery.

🤓One piece of advice Alex often shares? Something is better than nothing. Recovery doesn’t always require a full workout or a huge time commitment. One exercise, one set, or even a short walk is a great place to start — small, consistent efforts really do add up.

🏞️Outside the Clinic: You’ll find Alex staying active with workouts and volleyball, travelling, heading to concerts, or checking out new cafés and restaurant with family and friends. She’s also always up for a good mystery TV show.

🤔Fun Fact: Alex is a huge Harry Potter nerd 🧙‍♂️

📍 Providing care from our Stittsville location in English.

☕ Meet Steph Dancer, Osteopathic Manual Practitioner! 📚

Steph was drawn to Osteopathic Manual Therapy through her love of people and genuine desire to help others feel their best. She wanted to play a meaningful role in supporting her community’s health and well-being and became especially passionate about women’s health. For Steph, there’s nothing more rewarding than helping people move toward a better quality of life.
✨ Specialties: Steph has a special interest in women’s health, inspired by her own experiences and the incredible women she’s met throughout her career. She is also highly skilled in assessing and treating foot and ankle injuries, helping patients return to the activities they love with greater confidence and comfort. Her treatments are always individualized, meeting each person where they are and focusing on what their body is doing well—not just what hurts.

💡 Her philosophy: Steph believes there is no “perfect” place to begin your healing journey. Small, realistic changes often create the most lasting results. Her approach is simple: “I’ll meet you where you’re at, and we’ll go from there.” She believes osteopathic care is about finding health within the body, even during pain, and helping patients recognize the strengths that will carry them through recovery.

🏞️ Outside the clinic: Steph recharges by cycling, swimming, reading, spending time with friends, creating art, and hanging out with her very senior cat. She loves starting her mornings with a great cup of coffee and ending the day immersed in a good book.

🤔 Fun Fact: Steph has a unique hidden talent—she's convinced she can find just about anyone's animal doppelgänger! 🐾😂 We will be putting this to the test!

📍Providing care in English from our Carling location. She is also learning Tagalog and French, so she would be happy to practise a little conversation with you!

🪂 Meet Marie-Soleil Harvey, Intern Osteopathic Manual Practitioner! 🪂

Marie-Soleil’s path to osteopathy wasn’t a straight line, but it was always meant to be. From her early studies in athletic therapy to her career as a military medic, she was consistently drawn to the connection between structure, function, and healing. Inspired by professors and practitioners who made a profound impact on her own recovery, she finally answered the call and enrolled in a 5-year osteopathy program in Montreal. For Marie-Soleil, osteopathy isn’t just a profession, it’s a calling.

✨ Specialties: With a background in athletic therapy, trauma care, and women’s health, Marie-Soleil brings an informed and empathetic approach to every treatment. She’s passionate about supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause, and also treats infants with colic, reflux, and breastfeeding challenges. As a military veteran, she’s proud to support fellow service members as well. Her care is holistic and root-cause-focused, always tailored to each patient’s long-term goals.

💡 Her philosophy: That healing is never one-size-fits-all. It often requires time, patience, and collaboration across disciplines. She encourages her patients to be kind to themselves, stay curious, and take it one step at a time.

🏞️ Outside the clinic: Marie-Soleil stays grounded through movement, whether it’s swimming, lifting weights, yoga, or chasing her two kids around. She’s an avid researcher and reader, loves baking healthy treats.

🎹Fun Fact: Marie-Soleil is a classically trained pianist who completed Royal Conservatory training in her youth!

📍 Providing care from our Stittsville location in both English and French.

✨Please note that at this time, Marie-Soleil’s treatments are not eligible for coverage by most private insurance companies. She will be fully qualified and accepted by insurance providers by early summer (check the details of your plans for further information).

💃 Meet Liberty Aliferis, Resident Physiotherapist! 💃

Liberty’s journey into physiotherapy was shaped by her background as a dancer, where she experienced firsthand how movement can be both powerful and restorative. She was drawn to the profession as a way to blend science, health, and connection, all in service of helping others feel more at home in their bodies.

✨ Specialties: Liberty takes a whole-body, patient-centered approach to care, with a special interest in pelvic health, orthopaedic recovery, and pediatric physiotherapy. She also has a passion for guiding individuals who feel disconnected from their bodies and are looking to use breath and movement as a way to regulate their nervous system, ease physical and emotional tension, and reconnect with themselves. Her treatments blend education, hands-on therapy, and mindful movement practices to support healing from the inside out. She loves walking alongside patients of all ages and backgrounds as they celebrate milestones, both big and small.

💡 Her philosophy: Liberty believes that healing is not a linear path, and progress may look different from week to week. She encourages patients to be gentle with themselves, trust the process, and celebrate small wins. Her sessions are built on clarity, care, and collaboration, always tailored to the patient’s goals and unique life context. As she reminds her patients, “Progress, not perfection” and every step forward counts.

🏞️ Outside the clinic: Liberty recharges through movement, nature, and creativity. She starts her days with breathwork and winds down with a walk, a cup of tea, or quiet time at home with her partner and their cats, Halo and Graycie. She’s also passionate about music, the arts, and sharing tools for self-discovery through retreats and group experiences.

🤔 Fun Fact: Liberty is a self-proclaimed escape room master—🕵️challenge accepted.

🌿 Meet Stephanie Michieli, Physiotherapist! 🌿

Stephanie has always been passionate about health, wellness, anatomy, and movement but more than anything, she loves working with people. Physiotherapy gave her the perfect opportunity to combine these interests in a way that truly makes a difference. Whether someone is returning to sport, reconnecting with their body postpartum, or discovering just how strong they really are, Stephanie finds deep purpose in helping people transform their lives through movement.

✨ Specialties: Stephanie supports a wide range of clients but feels especially connected to those recovering from surgery or significant injury, helping them regain confidence and mobility. She works with individuals managing chronic pain, young athletes returning to sport, and new moms reconnecting with their bodies postpartum. With a strong movement-based approach and certifications in Acupuncture, Dry Needling, and TRX instruction, Stephanie tailors each treatment to meet the unique needs and goals of her patients. No matter the condition, her favorite moment is always the same: when someone realizes, “Wow… I can do this.”

💡 Her philosophy: Stephanie works collaboratively with patients, always starting with what is most meaningful to them. Her approach includes clear education, supportive coaching, and empowering tools that set people up for success beyond the clinic. She often reminds patients that physiotherapy isn’t always about aggressive treatments, it can be breathwork, nervous system regulation, or gentle, mindful movement that leads to the biggest breakthroughs.

🏞️ Outside the clinic: Stephanie finds balance through movement and nature. She loves hiking with her dogs and family, paddleboarding, spin, yoga, weight training, CrossFit, and discovering new food spots. She’s also a big fan of true crime documentaries and podcasts.

🤔 Fun Fact: Stephanie’s ideal day starts with coffee and toddler snuggles (though the coffee rarely gets finished) and ends with dog cuddles and a good book.

💆Meet Aleisha Wall 💆‍♂️

Aleisha’s journey into massage therapy began with encouragement from a close friend and colleague who knew she’d thrive in the field—and she was right. While working as a Kinesiologist, Aleisha felt something was missing in her ability to help patients achieve their goals. Once she discovered the power of manual therapy, everything clicked. Since becoming an RMT, she hasn’t looked back.

✨ Specialties: Aleisha has a strong interest in women’s health, with a particular passion for supporting pre- and postnatal clients, breast cancer and plastic surgery patients, and individuals navigating recovery from C-sections. She is a Vodder Certified Lymphatic Therapist, trained in oncology massage, including scar tissue work. Her goal is always to help clients feel more supported, less pain, and more connected to their bodies.

💡Her philosophy: Aleisha combines therapeutic techniques with intentional relaxation, believing that every treatment should meet both the physical and emotional needs of her clients. Whether it’s deep trigger point therapy or warm towels and diaphragmatic breathing, she believes in finding balance between structure and softness. She reminds clients:
"What’s broken can be mended, what’s hurt can be healed. No matter how dark it gets, the sun’s gonna rise again." – Meredith Grey

🏞 Outside the clinic: Aleisha and her family spend lots of time on the golf course together (even bringing their daughter along since she was 4 months old!). She also enjoys fiction, monthly book club meetups with her girlfriends, and winding down with good food and a favourite show.

😃Fun Fact: Aleisha played competitive basketball for 9 seasons and went on to work as an athletic therapist for the McGill men’s basketball team. Bonus fun fact ~she’s watched all 21 seasons of Grey’s Anatomy more than a dozen times 😮
