Myth or Fact?

"If you're not in pain, you don't need treatment."

❌ MYTH

This one is a myth! Many people seek treatment to improve mobility, prevent injuries, reduce stress, and maintain their overall wellness - not just when they're in pain.

One of the most common treatments used by chiropractors is manual manipulation of the vertebrae of the spine or other joints. It is also called an “adjustment”. To perform an adjustment, a chiropractor will use their hands to apply a controlled force to your joint and guide it through a range of motion. This action can help restore your joint’s natural movement and can help improve function.

❓ What makes that “cracking sound”?
It’s not your bones cracking, but a release of air within the joint itself! It’s similar to when you crack your own knuckles!

❓ Do I have to get adjusted?
Absolutely not! Chiropractors use various treatments, depending on their patient’s specific needs and preferences.

Why see a chiropractor when you are pregnant?

About 50 to 80 percent of all expecting moms experience low back pain.
