An Autumn Equinox Gathering

The Autumn Equinox is a natural pause point ā€” a chance to notice what has grown, what weā€™re grateful for, what weā€™re ready to leave behind, and where we want our energy to go next.

Join Lori and me for a 3-hour afternoon gathering at Equine Shine as we work with Earth, Air, Fire and Water through guided reflection, elemental experiences and seasonal ritual.

Weā€™ll explore the deeper meaning of the Equinox ā€” harvest, balance, gratitude, release and preparation ā€” and create a personal Equinox talisman using herbs, natural elements and intention. Something you can take home as a reminder of what you have already grown, what you are choosing to carry forward, and the seeds you want to keep tending through the quieter months ahead.

Weā€™ll also share warm apple c***r and seasonal harvest foods, gather for a simple fire release ritual, and finish the afternoon with a group Reiki experience to help everyone settle, receive and integrate.

It will be earthy, elemental, a little witchy, and very intentional. šŸŽšŸŒæšŸ”„

The Equinox itself falls on September 22, but weā€™re gathering on the Sunday before to make it easier to fit into real life ā€” and to give ourselves a little space to consciously prepare for the seasonal shift.

The Virgo New Moon reminds us that meaningful change rarely happens all at once. It begins with one honest choice, one supportive habit or one small step repeated with intention.

We often believe we need to see the entire path before we begin, but sometimes that need to have everything figured out is exactly what keeps us standing still. Virgo energy invites us to come back to what is practical, manageable and already within our hands.

Virgo reminds us that we cannot control everything happening around usā€”but we can choose what we tend to within ourselves.

This evening is about slowing down, grounding and becoming more intentional about what you are ready to nurture and grow. We will explore the energy and astrology of this New Moon, work with the elements, journal and create our own New Moon platesā€”meaningful tools you can take home and continue using with future New Moons.

Pisces energy can bring things up from deep within us.

Feelings we have avoided.
Truths we have softened.
Knowings we have explained away.
Intuition we felt, but did not want to fully face.

Full Moons are here to illuminate what is ready to be seen and released.

And with a Lunar Eclipse in Pisces, that truth may rise through emotion, dreams, memories, body knowing, or a sudden moment of clarity that says, you already knew.

This is not about forcing yourself to face everything all at once.
It is about allowing what is true to come into your awareness without immediately pushing it back down.

Pisces energy can be beautiful, intuitive, compassionate, creative, and deeply spiritual.

But it can also show us where we have been looking through fog.

Where we wanted something to be different.
Where we kept hoping.
Where we ignored what we felt.
Where we softened the truth because facing it felt harder than staying in the story.

Full Moons are here to illuminate.

And a Lunar Eclipse tends to make that illumination even harder to avoid.

This moon may bring awareness to the places where you have been clinging to a fantasy, an emotional attachment, a version of someone, or a story that your intuition already knows is not fully true.

That does not mean you were foolish.
It means you were human.
Sometimes we hold onto illusion because it feels safer than change.
Sometimes we stay in confusion because truth asks something of us.

This Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces helps clear the fog.
It helps you release what is not real, not aligned, or not honest anymore.

Sometimes the hardest thing to release is not the person, the situation, or even the pain.

It is the story we have wrapped around it.

The story that says we are not ready.
The story that says we have to keep carrying it.
The story that says if we let it go, we are letting go of who we were inside it.
The story that keeps us looping in hurt, confusion, guilt, grief, or emotional heaviness.

Full Moons are here to illuminate what is ready to be seen and released.

And with Pisces in the mix, this can bring awareness to the emotional patterns, old wounds, fantasy, grief, or inner narratives that have kept us swimming in the same waters long after our soul was ready to move on.

This Lunar Eclipse may not feel subtle.

It may show you very clearly where you have been emotionally tethered to an old version of yourself, an old pain, or an old story that no longer fits.

You do not need to keep telling yourself the same story in order for it to have mattered.

You do not need to stay stuck in the feeling to honour what you lived through.
