😎The sun is setting on summer, so let's send off with a Bash! 😎
Black Gold Brewery is hosting the End of Summer Bash on August 29 and $1 from every beer sold will be donated to LCDS. Every pint helps create opportunities, foster inclusion, and supports people with developmental disabilities in Lambton County.

🍋 What a Sweet Day of Community Giving!

LCDS and our Social Enterprises, The Olde Post Office and Petrolia Enterprises, were proud to take part in this year's BIG Squeeze in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sarnia-Lambton.

Thanks to the amazing support of our community and volunteers, we raised more than $400 and were honoured to receive the Most Creative Lemonade Stand Award! 🏆🍋 Together as a community, 87 organizations across Sarnia-Lambton raised $56,216.73 for our local Big Brothers & Big Sisters.

A special thank you to everyone who helped build, staff, support, and visit our stand. Your generosity helps strengthen our community and supports opportunities for local youth through Big Brothers Big Sisters.

⚾ Hats Off to a Stellar 2026 Blacktop Baseball Season! ⚾
Yesterday, many familiar faces to LCDS celebrated another amazing season of Blacktop Baseball.

Coordinated by the Town of Petrolia, this volunteer-driven program has brought people of all abilities together through sport, friendship, and inclusion.

We hope everyone had fun this season!

A huge thank you to the Town of Petrolia, Ontario for championing inclusion and providing a welcoming space for everyone in our community, and to the Lambton College Athletics Baseball Team for joining in the fun yesterday!

Taylor, along with LCDS employee Sam, made a new friend during a visit to the Official Sarnia & District Humane Society!

While spending time with the animals, Taylor met an orange cat who quickly stole her heart. She even gave her new furry friend a name: Ozzy! 🐈💚💜

🦋 Julie and Laura, who both live in Corunna, enjoyed a day exploring the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory Surrounded by tropical gardens, colourful butterflies, and beautiful displays, they took in the sights and enjoyed spending time together.

From watching butterflies flutter by to exploring the conservatory's peaceful pathways, it was a fun outing and a chance to experience something new.💚💜
