We are so proud of our Renaissance Knitting Group! 🧶❤️

These wonderful ladies have been meeting weekly, enjoying time together while creating something truly special. This year, they made an incredible 121 pairs of mittens, toques, and scarves🧤🧣

This morning, they proudly presented their handmade gifts to the principal of Glen Elm School. These beautiful, lovingly made items will help keep children warm throughout the winter. ❄️💕

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing knitting group for sharing your time, talents, and kindness with our community. Every stitch was made with love! ❤️

Taking care of our mental health also means making room for life's little joys 💚

To mark World Mental Health Day, Cogir residences organized a special day filled with thoughtful gestures to brighten residents' days: photo booths, encouraging messages, special treats prepared by the chefs, and much more. Each residence brought its own creativity to the celebration! ✨

A lovely reminder that well-being is also nurtured through simple gestures, meaningful connections, and moments that make us feel good.

Today, on National Seniors Day, we celebrate the older adults who enrich our communities with their wisdom, experiences and stories.

At Venvi, we are privileged to be part of their lives, creating opportunities for connection, fostering independence and supporting residents in living life to the fullest.

Today and every day, we recognize and celebrate the contributions of older adults and the many ways they inspire us.

Today, our community is taking time to recognize Orange Shirt Day and to remember the children who were taken from their families and communities and attended residential schools. We pause to honour the children who never returned home, as well as Survivors, their families, and communities who continue to carry the impacts of this history. Wearing orange is a simple but meaningful way for us to show that every child matters and that their stories and experiences should never be forgotten.
As a community, we are taking a moment to listen, reflect, remember, and learn. Our residents and staff come together with respect and compassion to acknowledge this important part of Canada’s history and to reflect on the importance of reconciliation. Through remembrance and education, we hope to help keep these stories alive and encourage kindness, understanding, and respect for generations to come.

Today, we celebrate Orange Shirt Day. In recognition of this important day, our wonderful Culinary Manager treated our residents to a delicious meal of bison burgers and bannock. 🦬🍞

Food has a special way of bringing people together, creating opportunities for connection, conversation, and learning. Today was a meaningful reminder that Every Child Matters. 🧡

We are grateful to our residents and team members for taking the time to reflect, listen, learn, and honour the journey toward Truth and Reconciliation.
