Shin splints slowing you down? 🏃♀️💥
Pain along the front or inside of your shin is common, especially if you’ve recently increased your running, jumping, or training volume. While rest can help settle symptoms, the right exercises can also improve strength, build resilience, and support recovery.
Here are a few exercises that may help reduce shin splint pain and lower the risk of it returning 👇
🦵Banded dorsiflexion marches
🦵Banded lateral toe walks
🦵Ball squeeze calf raises
🦵Tibialis anterior stretch
Remember, not all shin pain is shin splints. If your pain is severe, persistent, or localized to one spot, or these exercises cause you pain, it’s important to get assessed by a healthcare professional‼️
