World S*xual Health Day (WSHD), observed every September 4th, is a global initiative led by the World Association for S*xual Health.
For 2026, the theme is Every Body.
Our bodies are deeply personal, but also political. They are shaped by our relationships, communities, and the world around us. Through our bodies, we express ourselves, connect with others, set boundaries, make choices, experience desire, and decide what feels right for us.
S*xual health must start with having agency over our own bodies, but it doesn’t stop there. It is also influenced by the relationships we build, the education and services available to us, and the systems that shape whose s*xuality is understood, respected, and protected.
“S*xual health, rights, justice and pleasure belong to every person, in every body, without exception”. (WSHD, 2026)
