We are proud to share that Red Road Recovery has achieved a 3-Year Accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

CARF Accreditation is recognized as the gold standard in health and human services worldwide. This achievement reflects our commitment to delivering safe, ethical, and high-quality care grounded in clinical excellence and cultural integrity.

This milestone follows a rigorous evaluation process, including an in-depth review of our programs, policies, and outcomes, as well as a multi-day on-site survey of our facilities and team.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to our entire organization. This accomplishment belongs to every staff member who shows up each day with compassion, dedication, and a commitment to supporting those on their healing journey.

Why CARF Accreditation Matters
Choosing an accredited treatment provider means choosing a program that has been independently evaluated against internationally recognized standards. It ensures:
• A commitment to continuous improvement and accountability
• Evidence-based, person-centered care
• Safe, ethical, and effective treatment practices
• Measurable outcomes and quality assurance

For individuals and families seeking support, accreditation offers reassurance that they are accessing care they can trust.

At Red Road Recovery, our work remains rooted in culturally grounded healing while supporting mind, body, and spirit through connection, community, and the guidance of traditional teachings. This accreditation strengthens our ability to continue delivering meaningful, life-changing care.

We are honoured by this recognition and remain committed to walking alongside those we serve, every step of the way.

Today is Red Dress Day.

Also known as the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S), May 5 is a solemn reminder of the injustices, violence, and systemic neglect that have taken far too many lives.

The red dress, often seen hanging in trees or public spaces, symbolizes the spirit of those who are missing, their voices carried by the wind - never forgotten.

At Red Road Recovery, we stand in solidarity with Indigenous communities, survivors, and families who continue to fight for truth, justice, and lasting change.

We honour the lives lost.
We grieve with the families.
We commit to listening, learning, and supporting.
No more stolen sisters.

10 years.

That is 10 years of heartbreak, loss, and a crisis that has not slowed down the way it should have.

At Red Road Recovery, we do not just see statistics. We see people.
We see the families holding on.
We see the strength it takes to keep going.
And we see the possibility for change, every single day.

This crisis did not come from one place, and it will not be solved by one solution.

But we do know this:

Connection matters.
Support matters.
Being treated with dignity matters.

Recovery is possible, but no one gets there alone.

Today, we hold space for those we have lost and stand beside those still fighting.

Today we are proud to celebrate the opening of Red Road North, officially welcoming its first community members for land-based substance use treatment in Northwest British Columbia.

This new lodge represents an important step in expanding access to culturally grounded care and healing closer to home for individuals and families in the North.

Opening a facility like this is only possible through the dedication of many people. Staff, partners, community leaders, and supporters who believe in the power of connection, culture, and community.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped bring this vision to life.

Welcome to Red Road North.
