This is a unique opportunity to step directly into a paediatric caseload within a well-established, multidisciplinary clinic that’s deeply connected to the Sea to Sky community.

We’re a kid-focused clinic supporting infants through to young athletes, with a strong emphasis on quality care, relationships, and long-term outcomes.

We are super stoked to welcome Nicole to the Grom Squad !! 🤩

A little bit about Nicole : she graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Kinesiology and a Master of Physical Therapy. She began her career as a school-aged, community-based physiotherapist, working with a diverse group of children with complex medical needs; including developmental delays, congenital, and genetic disorders, many of whom were part of the At Home Program.

Growing up on the North Shore, Nicole spent many years first participating in and subsequently coaching recreational and competitive gymnastics for both preschool and school-aged children. This experience has provided her with valuable insight into child development, movement analysis, injury prevention, and performance optimization. She will apply these core competencies to deliver consistent value to every client.

Alongside her pediatric expertise, Nicole works in acute care at Lions Gate Hospital, where she supports patients in achieving their mobility goals and ensures they are prepared to return safely to their communities after discharge.

Now happily settled in Squamish, Nicole is excited to join the Sea-to-Sky community. She is passionate about making physiotherapy engaging, inclusive, and empowering — values that align perfectly with Groms’ mission to help kids build roots, grow strong, and move mountains. 🪴🏔️ 💪

Nicole will be supporting kiddos on Tuesday afternoons + evenings 🗓️

🧠 Our Spring Concussion Baseline Day is a few weeks away! Bookings are live for Saturday April 11th at Groms Physio + Co and spots are filling fast!

A baseline test gives your young athlete a personalized snapshot of their brain, balance, and coordination before their spring season starts. If a concussion ever happens, this baseline info helps clinicians guide a safer, faster recovery. 💪

The Grom Squad is stoked to welcome another clinical counsellor to the team to help support kiddos in the Sea to Sky! Many of you know this amazing smiling face, but for those of you who don't know her - meet Jenna !! ⭐️

Jenna is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with over 20 years of experience working with children, youth, and parents/co-parents. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Victoria. 📚

Jenna specializes in supporting children, youth, performance athletes, and parents/co-parents. She is dedicated to empowering meaningful change for young people and the caregivers who support them drawing on evidence based tools, collaborative guidance, and genuine compassionate connection. 💪 💕

Jenna lives in Squamish, BC with her husband and their three young children. They are an active family and spend much of their time outdoors—skiing, swimming, biking, and exploring nature together. She loves competing in triathlons and she is even the co-director of the Squamish Youth Triathalon! 🏊‍♀️ 🚲 🏃

Jenna will be offering in-person counselling for children and teens on Tuesdays with plans to increase availability in the spring. Parent and co-parent sessions can be booked for in-person or online sessions. Jenna offers a free 20-minute consultation, either over the phone or in person, to help determine if it's a good fit before starting.

Wahoo - exciting news! We are stoked to welcome Julie to the Groms Squad! ✨
Julie graduated from the Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture program at VCC in Burnaby, BC, the same year she gave birth to her son. The experience of being pregnant during her clinical training was an integral part of her motivation to continue down the path of providing quality peri-natal care. She has endless empathy for new mothers, having experienced some of the many challenges motherhood brings, and she is passionate about honouring much-needed post-natal care for new mothers during this exceptional time.

Julie is thrilled to be joining the Grom's team and to be working with such a unique population alongside her regular practice.

When not at the clinic or with her family, Julie is a passionate aerialist: she teaches, trains and performs aerial silks and rope, and is an active member and volunteer of the Squamish Circus Collective, as well as a rock climber, enthusiastic gardener and occasional mountain biker. 🤙🏼
