Answer Time! 💡

Most of the time, those tiny shapes are eye floaters—small clumps of collagen protein in the clear gel (vitreous) inside your eye. As we age, this gel naturally shrinks and casts tiny shadows on your retina.

Are they normal?
✅ Yes! Occasional floaters that stay relatively stable are very common and harmless.

When should you get them checked right away?
⚠️ A sudden increase or "shower" of new floaters

⚠️ Bright flashes of light in your side vision

⚠️ A dark shadow or "curtain" moving across your field of view

These symptoms can be signs of a retinal tear or detachment, which requires prompt medical care.

Due for your checkup?

Astigmatism and contact lenses? It’s a match! 👁️✨

If you’ve been told in the past that astigmatism makes contact lenses tricky, or if you’ve struggled with blurry, shifting vision in the past, we have great news!

We’re excited to share Precision 7 contact lenses from Alcon—a brand-new weekly lens specifically designed to provide crisp, stable vision for those with astigmatism. 💧

Giving back to the community we care so much about isn’t just something we say—community care, it’s what we believe in. 💙

Thanks to your incredible support during our July & August Frame Campaign, we had the honour of presenting the with a big cheque for $353! 🏥✨

For every frame sold throughout the summer, $2 went directly toward supporting local healthcare. This donation is just one of the many ways we strive to show up and give back to our amazing community.

Thank you to everyone who bought a frame and helped us make this happen. Together, we’re making a difference! 👓❤️

The answer is B! 👓✨

A prescription tells us what your eyes need, but lens design determines how you experience vision throughout your day!

Because no two daily routines are identical, we’ve integrated dedicated lens consultations into our exam process. During your visit, we look at your daily work, hobbies, and driving habits to match you with the exact optical technology for your lifestyle:

🔹 Custom & Premium Progressives: Unlike standard progressives that can have narrow side-zones, custom digital progressives are tailored to your exact frame fit, offering wider, distortion-free viewing areas and seamless transitions.

🔹 Dedicated Computer & Office Lenses: Designed specifically for desk setups to eliminate neck strain and offer ultra-wide, relaxed vision across monitors and paperwork.

🔹 Specialty Driving Lenses: Feature targeted contrast filters and anti-glare coatings to reduce harsh headlight reflections and night-driving eye fatigue.

Curious if your current lenses are matching your lifestyle needs? Ask us about your lens options at your next visit or drop by our frame gallery anytime to chat with our team! 🛍️
