There seems to be an assumption that “unregulated” automatically means unqualified or unsafe.

That simply isn’t true.

Regulation and professionalism are not the same thing.
What matters is training, ethics, scope of practice, safety, and client care.

I care deeply about offering a safe, informed, supportive experience—and that matters far more than assumptions based on a label.

Sometimes working outside rigid systems allows practitioners to do deeply individualized, effective work.

Worth remembering: unregulated does not mean unprofessional.
