Celebrating 100 Wonderful Years! ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‚
Amenida was honored to celebrate the 100th birthday of Ms. Jung Sung-sil, a beloved member of our community and church.

We were especially grateful to welcome our special guests, including Consul General Lee Kwang-seok, newly appointed Consul General of Vancouver; Minwoo Jang, President of the Korean Veterans Association; Wooseok Lee, President of the Korean War Veterans Association Western Canada Chapter and an Amenida resident; and Stephanie Jung.

The celebration was beautifully led by Pastor Tae-wook Kwon of Amenida Church, making the day even more joyful and meaningful. Our Amenida Church praise team prepared a special congratulatory song, and our Amenida church deaconesses performed a beautiful traditional fan dance to celebrate Ms. Jung's remarkable milestone. ๐ŸŒธ

Having Consul General Lee Kwang-seok join us made this 100th birthday celebration even more special and memorable.

We are deeply honored to celebrate a life of 100 years filled with faith, love, and precious memories.

We Remember. We Honour. We Are Grateful.

On July 27, a meaningful Korean War Armistice Day Commemoration Ceremony was held at Central Park to honour and remember the Korean War Veterans who sacrificed so much for peace and freedom.

Hosted by Senator Yonah Martin, the ceremony brought together local elected officials, community leaders, members of the Korean community, and students, creating a meaningful opportunity for generations to come together in remembrance and gratitude.

Representing Amenida Seniors Community, we had the honour of attending the ceremony alongside Mr. Woo Seok Lee, President of the Western Canada Branch of the Korean War Veterans Association and a proud Amenida resident, and participating in the wreath-laying ceremony to pay tribute to the brave veterans who served our country and protected the values we cherish today.

Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication shaped the freedom and peace we enjoy today. Their stories and legacy will never be forgotten.

We will always remember their service, honour their sacrifice, and carry their stories forward. ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท

As always, our AGM, Ivory, led the celebration with her warm and energetic touch, making the birthday stars feel so incredibly special. โœจ

It was a wonderful time filled with exciting music, dancing together, and enjoying delicious seasonal fruits that truly delighted all our senses. ๐Ÿ‡๐Ÿ‰๐ŸŽต

Being right by our residents' sides and seeing their pure joy and happiness brings so much meaning and reward to what we do.

Today, we had a truly special Canada Day celebration with our amazing residents! ๐Ÿ™Œโค๏ธ

From the flag-raising and singing 'O Canada' to a quiet moment of silence, our residents brought so much sincerity to every part of the ceremony.

Watching their quiet reflection reminded all of us that the peace and freedom we enjoy today were built on the lifelong dedication of this incredible generation.

It was a deeply moving moment for our entire team.
Seeing everyone dressed in red, joining the parade, and sharing a smile over cake cutting perfectly showed the true spirit of Canadaโ€”unity in diversity. ๐Ÿฅฐ

We feel incredibly grateful and proud to serve the pioneers who made this country so great, treating them just like our own family.

Today, we had a truly special Canada Day celebration with our amazing residents! ๐Ÿ™Œโค๏ธ

On June 15th, Amenida had the absolute honor of welcoming 11 members of the Korean War Veterans Association for a truly meaningful and deeply moving day. They visited our community to reconnect with 6 of our own residents who are also members of the Korean Veterans Association, including President Woo-seok Lee.
To show our endless gratitude, our staff along with Managers Rosa and Ivory prepared a delicious, heartfelt lunch for everyone. Following the meal, we guided our honored guests on a tour of the Amenida facilities, which they were very excited to explore, and presented them with specially prepared gifts as a small token of our respect.
Amenida is dedicated to serving our veterans with the highest honor, maintaining a strong bond with them as we work together to support our local community. From the bottom of our hearts, we wish all our veteran members continued good health and happiness. Thank you for your incredible service and sacrifice! โค๏ธ

๐ŸŽ‚ Celebrating Our Beautiful June Birthdays at Amenida!

On June 12th, we gathered to host a very special birthday celebration for our wonderful residents born in the month of June!

The party was filled with beautiful music as a guest singer joined us to bless our birthday stars. Our GM, Ivory, shared heartfelt blessings and love with each and every resident, making sure everyone felt truly cherished. ๐Ÿ’•

Together, we made wishes, blew out the candles, and shared delicious birthday cake. The highlight of the day was definitely the dancing! Everyone got moving, bringing so much joyful energy and laughter to the room. ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ•บ

It was another beautiful day where we created precious memories together. To all our June birthday celebrants: We wish you the happiest of birthdays, filled with endless health and joy! We love you! โค๏ธ
