Twenty-seven years ago, Surrey City Council approved the rezoning application that made Elim Village Fleetwood possible.

Residents and staff at Garrison Crossing gathered for a special Anniversary Luncheon to celebrate Elim Village's 25th Anniversary. The afternoon included a presentation highlighting key moments from Elim’s history, followed by a delicious brisket lunch and meaningful time together.

As we celebrate this milestone year, we are grateful for the people and stories that have shaped Elim Village into the community it is today. 🧡

On this day, the first shovel hit the ground and Elim Village began to take shape. ☔🏗️

On June 10, 2000, more than 200 supporters gathered in the rain for Elim Village's groundbreaking ceremony in Surrey. With years of planning behind them and construction ready to begin, a dream that had long been in the making moved one step closer to reality.

To wrap up BC Seniors Week, residents at both Elim Village Fleetwood and Garrison Crossing enjoyed a sweet treat on Friday—despite the rainy weather in Chilliwack.

The first resident has officially moved into The Cedar! 🎉🏡

We're marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter at Elim Village Garrison Crossing as move-ins get underway in our final Independent Living residence.
