Welcome Mara, the newest Physiotherapist to join the Impact Health Team starting June 2nd!

Check out her amazing bio:

Mara was born and trained in Brazil and has eighteen years of experience in the physio field. She moved to Canada in 2018. Past work experience encompasses a diverse range of clients across various environments, including the Brazilian Air Force and private facilities. She is passionate about orthopedics and sports injuries and has active rehab knowledge in eight different sports. Her educational background includes two post-graduates focused on orthopedics, sports, and special populations. David J. Magee, Ph.D. was one of her teachers back in 2009. Exercise Science for Health and Performance is her most recent post-graduate qualification, completed in Canada in 2018–2019.She has additional training in McKenzie MDT, Mulligan techniques, Concussion management, Pilates, Global Postural Reeducation (Reeducation Posturale Globale), Dry Needling, Kinesiotaping, and Auriculotherapy.

Gentle Fit is a small-group, low-impact exercise program tailored to women between the ages of 55–70, helping you maintain mobility, reduce stiffness, and build strength—so you can keep doing the things you love.
