Party by the Pond has a long history of great weather, but the streak is over.

The forecast is for rain with occasional thunderstorms, and the risks, plus wet grounds, have forced us to cancel today’s event.

We will try to find a way to celebrate our natural environment later in the summer, but for today, we advise caution.

Party by the Pond is back! Join the Mount Dennis Community Association Saturday July 4th at Topham Pond from 10am to 3pm to enjoy fun activities, meet your neighbours, a puppet parade, and the FREE LUNCH for the first 200 people.

Party by the Pond will feature community knowledge sharing on protecting nature, regenerating Eglinton Flats and the Riverlands, as well as Indigenous culture sharing. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the community!

You also can’t miss out on the Giant Nature Puppet Parade that honours natural life in water, land, and air! There will be lots of music, drumming, singing, storytelling, craft-making, as well as many kids zone activities too.

We are also excited to announce our new Art by the Pond Mini-Market! Make sure to check out this exciting addition to Party by the Pond.

There will be lots of entertainment for kids, food and drinks for sale, as well as FREE LUNCH for the first 200 people!
