We're thrilled to welcome Laura Bellon to the Arcadia Home Care team as our new Director of Clinical Services!

Laura comes to Arcadia with a background in Sociology and Education, and 25 years of dedicated service supporting individuals with acquired brain injury, neurodivergence, and complex medical care needs in case management and community integration.

She has a passion for teaching and has supervised placement students from multiple universities, supported over 150 individuals in the community with transitional support, and spoken at provincial conferences.

Big news in Alzheimer's research: a new trial is testing whether a drug can prevent dementia before symptoms even start.

Researchers will screen healthy adults aged 55 to 80 for a biomarker linked to cognitive decline, then offer eligible participants the chance to take part.

Prevention research like this could change what care looks like for families down the road.
