🎂 The Birthday Surprise I Never Saw Coming 🎂

Last weekend, Jean-Luc and I headed to Camp Arowhon in Algonquin Park for another amazing Rustic Mama Retreats weekend.

When we arrived at our room, I was completely surprised. The room was decorated for my birthday, Heather had made me a Rice Krispies birthday cake, and there were gifts waiting for me too. Jen brought cheese, crackers, and even cheese-themed socks (because apparently my love of cheese is no secret 😂🧀), and Dawn brought some games that I can’t wait to play.

I genuinely had no idea any of this was planned, and it meant so much.

The weekend itself was a blast too. Saturday night was the Fictional Characters Dance Party. Jean-Luc went as Ursula, and I went as Flotsam and Jetsam. Sunday, after the retreat wrapped up, we made a stop at Kawartha Dairy before heading home — the perfect way to end a great weekend.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make my birthday so special, and to Leona for capturing so many great photos from the weekend. ❤️
