Lulu Botanicals

Lulu Botanicals Lulu Botanicals is an Aromatherapy manufacturing company based on Vancouver island. Hello this is Amy from Lulu Botanicals based in Victoria BC.

I will tell you a little about my products. I chose the name Lulu Botanicals after our Miniature Schnauzer dog Lulu. She inspired me to make the Pet Spray as I wanted something natural to use on her. Currently I make two products, the Camping & Hiking Spray and the Pet Spray. My products are made from 100% natural essential oils , distilled water, natural alcohol, and organic ingredients. They ar

e non toxic, they have no parabans, no preservatives and are cruelty free. The Camping & Hiking spray is refreshing and deodorizing when out on excursions. You can use it as a perfume or to freshen up your clothes and tent. Some customers have told me they use my product to ward of flies, lice, mosquitos and wood tics which is an added bonus. The Pet spray is calming to your pet with the blend of oils I have used, while making their fur smell great. You can also spray down pet collars and beds. Some pet owners have told me they use the product to repel fleas, mosquitos and tics as well. The product is made in a 50 ml amber glass bottle with a quality spray top. The amber glass bottles make this product top quality as the essential oils won’t leach chemicals out like some products in plastic bottles. The 50 ml size makes it convenient to carry along with you for walks or hikes. You won’t be disappointed when using Lulu Botanicals Natural Products! You can find our products at Ageless Living Market, Buckerfields, Creatures, Island Pet Source, Growlies For Pets, Funk N' Fur, Willow Wind & Feed, Market on Millstream, Ingredients, and Self Heal Herbal Centre in Victoria BC. Saw these sweet little otters at the ocean. At one point, Koda was curious and went in the water and the mama was sure to correct him. 😀🦦

Sometimes all you need is a blank canvas!
Let your creativity blossom from there.
If you’re creative like me, and you’re not actively pouring into a creative outlet energies can become blocked or stagnant and you might feel overwhelmed or stressed until you allow yourself the time and space to create. It doesn’t have to be a masterpiece or even a painting; You can find other ways to get your creative juices flowing. Whether that be through dance, music, cooking, crafts, writing the list goes on. For me one of the biggest hurdles is starting. So I find if I just give myself time and a space to create everything else flows. 🖌️🎨

A little reminder that wellness doesn’t always have to look serious. 😀💃

Sometimes it’s swimming in the family pool.
Sometimes it’s dancing in the kitchen like nobody’s watching.

Taking time for yourself, finding moments of joy and giving your nervous system a chance to breathe are all part of taking care of yourself. ❤️

And when you’re looking for a little extra support, herbs such as lemon balm, rooibos and ashwagandha are among the many plants that can be part of a personalized wellness routine. 🌿

Not sure where to start? I offer one-on-one herbal consultations where we can explore herbal and nutritional support tailored to your individual needs.

Nothing like a refreshing dive in the ocean to help Balance your nervous system and ground. There’s minerals like magnesium our skin absorbs being the biggest organ of our body. So many benefits to swimming and cold plunging. Soaking up the sun‘s natural vitamin D on the beach is a bonus too! Our husky Koda doesn’t swim, but he likes to wade in the water with me😎🐶

Came across Devils club (Oplopanax) on my trip to the Interior of BC. It has a long history of use to treat adult onset diabetes, and is used to treat hypoglycaemia and early stages of insulin resistant diabetes. It appears to decrease sugar cravings as helpful for those trying to lose weight. Can be used to treat autoimmune disorders and rheumatoid arthritis, MS, respiratory conditions, it has a general tonic effect on the whole endocrine system.
It has been called Devils club because when you’re walking in the forest and you step on it, it wacks you with the thorns and can be very painful. Beautiful plant just the same and it was a pleasure to come across it.🩷

What can I say? I’ve always been a tree hugger.💜😍🌲

Came across ghost pipe for the first time on my walk recently. Although ghost pipe has a long history of traditional use by some Indigenous peoples and herbalists, it’s a very specialized forest species. Because it relies on an underground fungal network that’s connected to trees, it’s difficult or impossible to cultivate, and many herbalists choose not to harvest it from the wild to help protect local populations.
Historically, ghost pipe has been used for:

* Pain relief, especially for nerve pain, headaches, toothaches, and muscle pain.
* Calming the nervous system during periods of emotional distress or shock.
* Helping people who were overwhelmed after a traumatic event.
* Occasionally for spasms or seizures in some traditional practices.

Herbalism isn’t just about what we can gather—it’s about learning when to harvest, when to cultivate, and when to simply admire. Respect for the plant and its habitat is part of the medicine
