Let’s be real: you wouldn't wear your gym shoes to a wedding, so why expect one pair of glasses to do everything?

Whether you are hitting the road for a summer trip or staring at a screen for 8 hours a day, your eyes need task-specific support.

Prescription sunglasses are a total lifesaver for outdoor adventures, and a dedicated pair of computer glasses can finally kick those end-of-day headaches to the curb.

Plus, having a backup pair is the ultimate peace of mind. No one wants to spend a week in a blur because their main pair went missing at the beach!

The best part? We offer multi-pair discounts to make it easier than ever to build your eyewear wardrobe.

Stop by or contact Williams Lake Optometry today to browse our latest frames and find your perfect match (or 2)!

We have all been there. You are sitting in a meeting or scrolling through your phone, and suddenly, your eyelid starts doing a little dance of its own.

Before you spiral down an online rabbit hole, take a deep breath. Most eye twitching is completely harmless.

The big 3 culprits? Stress, lack of sleep, and—sorry to say it—too much caffeine. When your nervous system is overstimulated or exhausted, those tiny muscles around your eye are often the first to react.

If you have been burning the candle at both ends lately, take this as your sign to power down the laptop. Skip the afternoon espresso and get to bed a little earlier tonight.

Usually, once you reset, the twitching disappears on its own. If it doesn't, please give our office a call at 778-412-9998.

The sun is finally out, and while a cute pair of shades is a summer staple, not every pair is doing its job. ☀️🕶️

When you wear dark lenses without 100% UV protection, your pupils naturally dilate to let in more light.

If those lenses don't have a proper UV filter, you are actually exposing your retinas to more harmful rays than you would be without sunglasses.

Investing in 100% UV-blocking lenses is a must for helping prevent cataracts and macular degeneration down the road. Plus, if you have a prescription, getting it built right into your sunglasses is a total game-changer.

No more squinting through your regular specs or fumbling with fit-overs during your summer road trips. 🚗💨

Sharp vision, full protection, and effortless style. It is the ultimate summer upgrade for your eyes, stop by our eye wear department and visit our eye wear team today to make sure you can enjoy the sunshine at the fullest!

If your eyes are red and watery this June, you might be reaching for the nearest bottle of allergy drops. 👀

But before you do, it is worth checking if your ""seasonal allergies"" are actually dry eye.

Allergy symptoms are often triggered by pollen or pets and come with that signature itch.

Dry eye, on the other hand, usually feels more like a burning or scratchy sensation, and it can actually be made worse by certain over-the-counter allergy medications that can dry out your system. 🌵

One of the biggest ironies of dry eye? Your eyes might actually water more because they are trying to compensate for a lack of healthy, lubricating tears.

Stop guessing and start seeing clearly. Book your appointment today. ✨
