Meet Kendra- one of our Mental Health Therapists at the clinic ✨

Therapy will always look different depending on the practitioner you work with. Every therapist brings their own clinical interests, therapeutic style, personality, life experience, education, and integration of therapeutic approaches into each session 📚

Therapists also vary in many other ways, such as how fast they speak, their tone of voice, their style of questioning, their pace + energy, and how directly they offer feedback or perspective (just to name a few). These differences can have a meaningful impact on how therapy feels + how suitable of a fit that particular therapist may be for you 💭

Kendra may be a good fit for you if you’re looking for therapy that feels calm, compassionate, and grounded. Her approach intentionally creates space to slow things down, reflect on what is coming up for you, and work through experiences in a way that feels supportive 🤍

Kendra takes a thoughtful and collaborative approach to sessions, with an emphasis on listening carefully, helping you explore patterns and experiences more deeply, and creating space for you to feel understood without feeling rushed or judged. Sessions often include different components of reflection, processing, improving awareness, and developing ways to respond differently to the things that have been feeling difficult 🪴

Kendra works with clients with all kinds of presenting concerns, including PTSD + trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, and self-esteem. She also works with more common everyday challenges like stress management, burnout, relationship challenges, emotional overwhelm, caregiver burnout, family issues, role transitions, and working through difficult life experiences ✔️

If you think Kendra may be a good fit for you, you can book an initial session or a free meet and greet through the link in our bio. Her services are covered by almost all insurance plans, and she offers direct billing for almost all insurers. She also offers direct billing to NIHB 💯

Stay tuned for the next video to learn more about our other practitioners!

✔️Routines, Balance, and Daily Functioning

Emily is particularly interested in helping clients understand what may be getting in the way of doing the things that matter to them and finding practical strategies that fit naturally into their everyday lives. This may include building routines, developing coping and regulation strategies, increasing engagement in meaningful activities, addressing barriers to daily functioning, and taking gradual steps toward change 🪴
