Some of our residents put their minds to the test with word games and took on the challenge of creating as many words as possible from the word "Acknowledgement." Impressively, they were able to come up with 128 different words! 🎉🧩

Meanwhile, others enjoyed an engaging history presentation from our special guest speaker, Greg Agnew, who shared fascinating stories and insights from the past. 📚✨

A wonderful day filled with mental exercise, learning, and great conversation. Thank you, Greg, for spending time with us!

Resident Lorriane hosted our Tenant Sharing Circle at River Ridge 2. As one of our senior mentors, she leads the group through exercises and an open chat about mental health and wellness. It’s neighbours looking out for neighbours, and we love seeing it. 🙌

A fresh haircut and a manicure, without ever leaving home.

River Ridge 2 has its own on-site salon. Residents can book a cut, a manicure or a pedicure right here, steps from their suite.

Personal grooming is a big part of holistic wellness. Feeling put-together has a way of lifting the whole day, and having the salon in-house means residents can keep up the routines they've always loved, on their own schedule.

Before residents even sit down, the table is set, and the water glasses are already full.

At River Ridge 2, the small details are what make mealtime feel like home. Our team fills every water glass before each meal, so residents are greeted by a perfectly set table.

Every meal offers two main options plus an à la carte menu, so everyone can find something they look forward to. Coffee, tea, milk and juice are served at every meal too.

Walk into River Ridge 2, and there's a good chance the first thing you'll see is someone working on our puzzle.

It lives in the foyer, and everyone pitches in. One person finds an edge piece, another fills in a corner, and bit by bit the whole picture comes together. Every piece matters, and so does every person who adds one.

This one is Halloween-themed, and it's coming along nicely! 🎃

Autumn by the Red River never gets old. 🍂

River Ridge 2 is tucked in along the river, so residents get a uniquely gorgeous view right outside their windows. Autumn might be its best season, with the colours changing week by week.

The view is lovely all year long, though. Winter, spring and summer each bring something of their own.
