It’s only a 500kcal!😭

Being obsessive over “clean eating” isn’t discipline.
It’s just anxiety wearing a health halo.

Now if you’re trying to lose weight for a specific purpose, like getting stage ready, or because your physician put you on a strict diet. Then that is different and being on point is crucial, real nutrition doesn’t require obsession.

It requires a system flexible enough that one meal doesn’t derail you. That’s the entire point of an 80/20 split. 80% dialed in, 20% built-in room, on purpose.

Sustainable beats “perfect” every time.

Fitness comes from the daily habits you build.

Having to NEED a gym to get into shape is the lamest excuse anyone can use. When I started out, I started with doing pushups and squats in my living room, and taking my dogs for walks atleast 3x/week.

Did I get absolutely shredded doing that? No, but do you need to be shredded to be considered fit? No.

Fitness is different for everyone. The way I see it is, if you’re in a healthy bodyfat % and all of your health markers are on point, you’re there!

Fitness doesn’t start with a program. It starts with steps. Walking in nature is the easiest entry point it’s free, low-impact, and it counts. L4H 💪

Most people train like bodybuilders. Pure vanity, zero explosive work, zero mobility. Fine if you’re an IFBB pro. Useless (and stiff) if you’re not. Parents especially need reactive strength, not just a mirror muscle. Keep vanity training under 20%. Build reliability with the rest. L4H 💪

What type of things do you have questions on? Related to health/fitness.

The best physiques weren’t built by chasing aesthetics alone.

They were built by becoming more capable.

I still squat. Deadlift. Row. Progressively overload.

But I also sprint.
Jump.
Absorb force.
Move explosively.
Train balance, coordination, speed, power, and resilience.

Because life doesn’t ask how much you bench.

It asks:
• Can you move?
• Can you react?
• Can you stay healthy?
• Can you produce force when it matters?
• Can you keep doing it for decades?

A lot of “gym bros” build impressive muscles.

I want to build an impressive human.

The physique is just proof that the process is working.

90% of people neglect this style of training.

It sucks and feels like death but it’s required to be able to move like a human. Be mobile, explosive, have control, and agility.
Muscles are cool but being able to use them to the fullest extent is even better.

Be reliable with your training, not vain.

Still dialing in the pattern, that’s why the load’s light at 185. 4x8, focused on the transition from leg drive to shrug, not the number on the bar.

Strict rows build strength. This builds power, using leg drive to move the weight explosively puts more overload on your traps and rear delts, and trains the same triple-extension pattern as a clean.

I fu**ed my hips and shoulders up for 3 years before I figured out which stretch actually undoes which lift. Nobody told me, I just kept training through it until my body forced me to slow down.

DM “MOBILITY” and I’ll send you the pairing so you skip that.

Most people either skip stretching completely or do random s**t that doesn’t touch the muscle they actually beat up that day. Few people ever teach this part. Gyms teach you how to lift heavy. Nobody teaches you how to still be able to walk normal and carry s**t with no tweaks.

That gap, knowing exactly which stretch cancels out which lift is the whole reason I coach people, instead of just posting workouts. It’s not more effort. It’s just not guessing anymore.
