You were designed to be connected to the sun. ☀

Every cell in your body runs on light.

Full-spectrum sunlight regulates your circadian rhythm, hormones, neurotransmitters, immune function, and mitochondrial energy.

🌅 Early morning light sets your internal clock and programs your biology for the entire day.

These are some things I no longer do.

What an amazing experience this has been, taking care of 6 puppies on top of my own 4 dogs.

But The main takeaway from this is that in order to truly take care of others, you have to take care of yourself first.

So many people fall into the belief that they can’t prioritize themselves because others are depending on them.

And yes, there are seasons where you need to make that sacrifice.

But when it becomes chronic, your health pays the price.

You can’t pour from an empty cup.

Fill yours first. Then you can be of real service to everyone who needs you.

Your thoughts, emotions, and beliefs all shape how you move through the world.

Around 90% of your body’s serotonin is made in your gut.

Not your brain. Your gut.

So when your gut lining is inflamed from chronic stress, processed food, rounds of antibiotics, ongoing bloating, that production can take a hit.
