WEO Masterclass
What an incredible finale to an inspiring journey! ✨
After two engaging online webinars, it was a pleasure to finally welcome the international group of participants to our Training Centre in Düsseldorf for the on-site event of the WEO Masterclass.
Over two intensive days, our outstanding faculty — Prof. Lars Aabakken and PD Dr. med. Torsten Beyna — guided participants through advanced ERCP topics, combining case presentations, hands-on training, and live demonstrations from EVK Düsseldorf. The scientific program was complemented by valuable discussions, knowledge sharing, and the opportunity to learn from one another in person.
But what made this event truly special was the atmosphere. Seeing participants from around the world connect beyond the virtual classroom, exchange experiences, and build new professional relationships perfectly reflected the spirit of the WEO Masterclass. 🌍
The social program added another memorable dimension to the experience, with an evening together starting high above Düsseldorf on top of the Rhine Tower and continuing with a wonderful dinner in the Media Harbour — the perfect setting to strengthen the connections made throughout the course. 🥂
A heartfelt thank you to our exceptional faculty for sharing their expertise and passion throughout every event of this Masterclass, to every participant for their curiosity, enthusiasm, and active engagement, and to the World Endoscopy Organization (WEO) for the outstanding collaboration, trust, and partnership that made this unique educational initiative possible.
