Geschichte der weißen Villa – „Fenster“
Mit dem Kauf der weißen Villa im Jahr 2000 verpflichtete sich wissner-bosserhoff, das Denkmal zu schützen, instand zu halten und so nutzen, dass die kulturhistorische Substanz für die Nachwelt erhalten bleibt. Hierzu zählte auch, bei der Renovierung die sogenannten „Fenster“ in der Decke zu erhalten und beim weißen Anstrich auszusparen. So gewähren die beiden Fenster bis heute einen Einblick in die ursprüngliche Gestaltung der Decken, die von einer kunstvoll gemalten Imitation einer Holzmaserung oder einer Blume dekoriert wurden.

History of the white villa – “Windows”
With the purchase of the white villa in 2000, wissner-bosserhoff committed itself to protecting and maintaining the historic building and using it in such a way that its cultural and historical substance would be preserved for posterity. This included preserving the so-called “windows” in the ceiling during renovation and leaving them out when painting the building white. To this day, the two windows provide a glimpse of the original design of the ceilings, which were decorated with an artistically painted imitation of wood grain or a flower.
