Not everything that looks like a hemorrhoid is a hemorrhoid.

Re**al bleeding, persistent, itching, pain, or a lump can be easy to dismiss, especially when the symptoms seem familiar. But these are also symptoms that deserve a closer look.

Something many people don’t realize? A routine colonoscopy doesn’t specifically screen for a**l cancer.

If something isn’t healing, keeps coming back, or simply doesn’t feel right, ask your doctor to examine the area.

1️⃣ taking supplements just because they’re trending. I look at the individual, their goals, and the available evidence before making recommendations.

2️⃣ cut out entire food groups without a clear reason. Restrictive eating is an automatically healthier and can make it harder to get adequate nutrition.

3️⃣ treat one blood test as the entire story. Results need context, including symptoms, history, and other relevant findings.

Good wellness advice should be individualized, not copied from someone else’s routine.

This is what I want to eat when it’s too hot to cook 🍑

Peach, cucumber + tomato salad:

🍑 2 ripe peaches, sliced
🥒 1 cucumber, chopped
🍅 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
🥑 1 avocado, chopped
🧀 ½ cup crumbled feta
🌱 2 green onions, thinly sliced

For the dressing:
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Salt + pepper to taste

Toss everything together gently and eat it right away. Fresh, crunchy, a little sweet, a little salty—and SO easy.

Save this one for your next summer lunch.

When my Hashimoto’s markers came back incredibly high, Epstein-Barr was one of the things my naturopath wanted to investigate.
And when I saw my antibody numbers, I had questions.

What I’ve learned is that having high EBV antibodies and having an active infection are two very different things. And the distinction matters.

I’m sharing my actual results, what the research says about EBV and autoimmunity, and how to approach testing in my latest Substack.

Cancer changed the questions I was asking about my health.

At 32, I started looking beyond “Am I healthy?” and asking: How am I eating? How am I sleeping? How much stress am I carrying? What is actually going on inside my body?

That curiosity eventually became my career.

For the past 15 years, I’ve worked with people who often come to me saying the same thing: “I’m doing everything right, but I still don’t feel like myself.”

That’s why I don’t believe in guessing. I look at your bloodwork, symptoms, history and lifestyle together—because your labs are numbers, but you are not.

If you’ve been trying to understand why you don’t feel like yourself, I’d love to help you start connecting the dots.

My top 5 aging hacks—and no, buying another “anti-aging” supplement isn’t one of them. 😉

Test, don’t guess. Support what your body actually needs. And please fix the basics before adding 12 more things to your routine.

Aging well is a lot less complicated when you stop throwing everything at the wall.
