A last run here at home in the Pyrenees Orientales before heading back to Chamonix for my last TMB of the 2026 summer season.
What a privilege to live in the beautiful French Pyrenees in the most southern valley in France the Haut Vallespir and yet at the same time be able to work and play out of the incredible Chamonix valley which is and still feels like my 2nd home.

I love working with Run the Alps, their attention to detail is second to none and the fact that they provide a professional running photographer on one of the days is so unique and wonderful.

If you read my guide bio on website you will learn that the run from Courmayeur in Italy to La Fouly in Switzerland is one of my favourite runs and days on the Tour du Mont Blanc. Lots of vertical climbing and descending, the best single track balcon running on the TMB and the views of the mountains and glaciers is jaw dropping. The feet feel tired now but what a day.

Another amazing day on the TMB guiding for .
Today we left a little earlier to miss the heat of the day from Les Contaminés, crossed the bonhommes and arrived in Chapieux before 1pm for a great pasta lunch.
This group of beautiful human beings are on fire and settling into the journey and finding their mojo.

Today we ran Vallorcine to Chamonix. Tomorrow we start on the TMB properly and head over to Les Contamines
