I changed my business hat this weekend for my Tropic Skincare hat!!

For those who don’t know Tropic Skincare it is a wonderful UK skincare brand which offers clean, vegan, cruelty free products while also giving back 10% off all profits to charity 💰💚

I’ve been trialling our new lash serum over the last few weeks and it is fantastic. Great for those of us with dry eyes are there are no chemicals in it which can disrupt your tear film. Excited to be heading to Glasgow today to celebrate with my fellow optometrists 20yrs since we secured the first GOS contract for FREE eye exams for everyone in Scotland!!

This was a huge change in eye care and has lead to massive changes in our sector since I qualified way back in 2003 🎉

Look forward to see where the service will go in the next 20yrs 🤔

If you or any of your friends or family don’t have regular eye exams then I would encourage you to get yourself booked in. During an eye exam we don’t just look for whether or not you need glasses it’s a really important health check which can detect lots of underlying health conditions such as diabetes or high blood pressure as well as eye conditions such as glaucoma that have no symptoms.
