Happy Upsy Daisy Day. I’d never heard of this one but it’s a wee reminder that how you start your day (and this year, your week) matters.
I’m a morning person anyway, but I’ve taken it up a notch going out for a run before work, or in a twist I did not see coming, I’ve joined the gym and started going to early classes.
I’m loving the early mornings, the quiet roads and feeling like I’m up and out before the world wakes up.
Starting the day easy. Not in a “must do better” way — but in a kind, doing good for future‑me sort of way.
And for me that’s what Upsy Daisy Day feels like: wee, intentional choices that lift you before the day even begins whether it’s a walk, a stretch or 5 minutes of stillness. Or just deciding not to start in a rush.
It’s the same principle behind hypnotherapy — small, steady shifts your mind can actually keep. Just easy changes without forcing anything or putting yourself under pressure.
If you’ve been thinking about making a change, you don’t need a full plan. It is fine to start with just one small “upsy daisy” moment.
