It’s great to see collaborative efforts in action during Legs Matter Week, with Claire Housden attending a Suffolk and North East Essex formulary event and a joint roadshow, alongside industry partners.

Bringing organisations together in this way helps strengthen awareness and shared understanding of lower limb care — and we hope colleagues who met Claire found the interaction meaningful and informative.

Lipoedema is often misunderstood — but millions of women may be living with it worldwide. For those who don't know, Lipoedema is a chronic condition involving abnormal fat distribution, most commonly affecting the legs.

For many people living with lipoedema, the impact goes far beyond appearance.

Symptoms can include:
• Pain and tenderness
• Swelling
• Reduced mobility
• Easy bruising
• Emotional distress and reduced confidence

This month, we’re helping raise awareness and understanding of lipoedema. Watch the video to look at some of the numbers linked to lipoedema.
