After an incredible journey with Maxwheelchairs Scotland, I am officially retiring. Like any career, it’s had its fair share of ups and downs, but looking back, it has been a privilege to be part of a team that helps give people their independence and freedom back.
Through all the challenges and triumphs, I’m going to deeply miss the daily laughs and the wonderful camaraderie we’ve built over the years. A massive, special shout-out has to go to Colin Price, Colin Flounders, and James Price—you guys made my time there unforgettable, and the place won't be the same without you! 🤝
I also have to give a huge, heartfelt thank you to my friend and helper, Mick. Mick, thank you for all your support, your hard work through the thick and thin, and for being someone I could always count on. I couldn’t have done it without you mate! 🙏 (I’ll be texting this to him since he's off the grid!)
But now, it’s time for a new chapter and a shift in focus. My working wheels are officially parked, and I’m trading them in for something far more important: my family life. ❤️
I am so looking forward to having no strict routines, no rushing out the door, and just being fully present. I can't wait to spend proper, quality time with my wife Jayne, Stephanie, and Connor, and of course, my mummy Moira. It’s time to make a lifetime of new memories with the people who mean the absolute world to me...And speaking of new memories, my other top priority is going on holiday! ✈️☀️ My immediate plans involve a passport, a suitcase, and a lot of relaxation. I’m ready to see more of the world and embrace a much slower pace of life.
Thank you to everyone at Maxwheelchairs for the support, the friendship, and the memories over the years. Wishing the company and the whole team nothing but the absolute best.
Here’s to family, new adventures, and a very long, very happy retirement! 🥂🎉
