I get asked all the time what the difference is between Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage. So I created this post to break it down clearly for you!
While both treatments support the lymphatic system, they’re actually quite different in technique and results.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle, slow, therapeutic treatment designed to encourage lymph flow, reduce swelling, support healing, and calm the nervous system.
Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage uses firmer, faster, more sculpting techniques to encourage drainage while also contouring and defining the body for that instantly snatched feeling.
Wood Therapy is often incorporated into Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage to further enhance sculpting, contouring, circulation, and drainage results.
choosing the right treatment depends on your goals.
