International Overdose Awareness Day – Monday 31st August 2026 💜
Join us at Woodroad Park as we come together to remember, reflect, and stand for change.

In rural areas like Auchinleck, Cumnock and our surrounding villages, overdose loss hits hard. Distance from services, stigma, and isolation make it even tougher for individuals and families to get the support they deserve. No one should ever feel alone or ashamed for reaching out.

On the 31st, we’ll gather as a community to honour those we’ve lost, support those still struggling, and break down the stigma that keeps people silent. Every life matters. Every story matters. Every family matters.

Everyone is welcome.
Let’s stand together, show compassion, and keep pushing for safer, more connected rural communities. 💜🌿

On Friday morning we welcomed Gemma Collins & Graham Richardson, certified Wim Hof instructors, to the Boswell Centre. They brought the Wim Hof magic, breathwork, cold water, big smiles, and big energy.
Nervous systems reset. Comfort zones smashed. Spirits lifted, proud of every single person that turned up and pushed themselves

It’s been a busy few week for our ACDI Recovery crew! 🎉

A few of our members successfully completed their Mini First Aid and REHIS Food Hygiene training and now have shiny new certificates to add to their portfolios.

Last week we had a lovely morning at Netherthird Community Gardens, and we were absolutely blown away by the gorgeous flowers and hanging baskets. The gardens were so tranquil and calming, a perfect wee escape for everyone. We followed it up with a tasty lunch in the café, and of course we couldn’t resist nipping into the charity shop and a few bargains were found, you can’t beat a guid rummage!

All this on top of our regular Tuesday and Friday recovery support groups, where folk continue to show up, support each other, and build confidence week after week. Proud of every single person who walks through the door ❤️

Thursday (21st May) we’ll have Home Energy Scotland in the centre offering support, advice and a few freebies for anyone struggling with rising fuel costs. If you or someone you know could use a bit of help, please pop in; everyone’s welcome.

📅 Friday 5th June We’re excited to welcome the amazing Gemma Collins for a Wim Hof Wellness Day. There will be a few free spaces available, so if you’re interested, keep an eye on the page, more details coming soon.
