Thanks & Acknowledgment:

The family of the late Caroline (Carol) Hunter wish to express their sincere appreciation for everyone's kindness, heartfelt prayers, words of comfort and condolences during their recent sudden and very sad loss.

Thank you to everyone who attended Mum's Thanksgiving Service for her life and interment, to all who called, sent text messages, sympathy cards and flowers and to those who have already made very kind donations via Adair Funeral Directors in her memory to 'Make a Wish Foundation' , for children with life limiting conditions, which was very close to her heart.

We are sincerely grateful to the medical, nursing and auxiliary staff of Stroke Ward 4D at the Ulster Hospital for their exceptional high quality and dignified care of our Mum and the support shown to her family.

A special word of thanks to Rev. Adrian Green, Vicar at Holy Trinity Parish Church, Ballywalter, for his unwavering dedication and excellent pastoral care to our Mum whilst in hospital, his heartfelt prayers and words of comfort to both Mum and ourselves and for leading a very fitting tribute and Thanksgiving Service for her life.

Sincere gratitude also to Sue Bell (former vicar) and her husband Tony for travelling to attend Mum's service . Thank you Sue for visiting and praying with mum and our family at hospital and for sharing lovely memories of her during your participation in her Thanksgiving Service.

Thanks also to Ali , Linda and Billy for your beautiful accompaniment of Mum's chosen hymns, to Lynnsey for her IT support and to Ernest , David and Ronnie for your warm welcome to everyone attending.

The floral arrangements within the church were a beautiful tribute, given how much Mum loved flowers, from her loyal friend Ann Wilson and they were beautifully arranged by Carol and Shirley. Thank you ladies.

Our extreme gratitude to Adair Funeral Directors, Ballywalter, for the highly efficient, dignified and professional manner in which you handled and conducted Mum's funeral arrangements. We are truly grateful for the excellent attention given to every single detail, to ensure that Mum's final wishes were fully carried out and to the empathy, patience and personal, emotional support shown to us as a family. You handled every single aspect of the process, taking away much of the pressure and allowing us to grieve, which was very much appreciated.

The beautiful fresh floral arrangements provided by McDonalds Florist, Newtownards were exactly as Mum requested and the little pink posies were very personal and touching.

Finally, we would like to extend our thanks to the Holy Trinity Parish Mothers Union and wonderful group of ladies, who provided and served a range of very enjoyable refreshments after the service and interment.

Trusting that this acknowledgment of thanks will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation.
