Did you know a Balder is compatible with more than one vehicle docking system? 😄🪝

Balder chairs have been crash-tested for use with Dahl, QLK by Q-straint and our own Balder dock. This gives you greater choice in systems, compatibility if you already have one system fitted to your car and peace of mind for your safety. 🦼🚗

We’re always interested to know if anyone has a favourite, so let us know in the comments! 🤔👇

Did you know? 💡🤩

Our Balder F390 (standing powerchair) is the only powerchair in the world with this level of specification that can combine a standing position AND have the option of a powered Seat Slide! 🙌

We developed this chair after listening to customer feedback and understanding what matters to you 🦼. We also ensured that this configuration successfully passed crash testing to provide added reassurance when travelling in a vehicle. 🚗

The powered Seat Slide feature allows your seat base to move forwards or backwards by up to 15cm, adding flexibility and getting you closer to the things you need to reach, whilst the standing mode allows you to assume a standing position to help with pressure relief, improving reach and circulation. 😀

We’re always looking for ways to make advancements to our powerchair lineup, whilst remaining true to the Balders that have been loved by many for decades. ☺️🦼

Preparations are underway for the latest Balder to arrive, fresh off our production line. 😀📦

This one’s a Finesse 380 destined for another of our returning customers based in London. They’ve chosen Fontana Red for their cover colours, which we’ve just collected from our paint shop. 😍🎨

We’ll now complete a pre-delivery inspection on the chair before it’s ready for handover. 🔧🦼

Busy day for our Baldertech team as we’ve headed out to complete two assessments and demonstrate a selection of our Balder range to a group of OTs at a local rehabilitation unit. 😄🦼

This is a great opportunity to show off the capabilities of us and our range, including our F390 standing powerchair, fitted with a powered Seat Slide and set up with chin control for the demo! ♿️

We’re so proud that the Balder name and our reputation is continuing to grow across the UK, as we look to introduce even more people to our powerchair range and the service we offer. ☺️💚

Just popping this up for any of our customers with REM400/500 joysticks fitted to their chairs, as a gentle nudge or reminder on how to update your clocks after BST ended on Sunday. ☺️🦼🍂

26/10/2026

We’ve got a busy week lined up for Andy this week, who has a schedule packed full of our demonstration/assessment appointments! 😄📅

During these appointments, we visit you and allow you to try a Balder chair in your own familiar environment and offer a full demo of a Balder’s features and capabilities. 🦼

We can also work alongside your family and any healthcare professionals you have, with our aim to build you a powerchair that supports your needs in every possible way. ☺️💚

Autumn is certainly in full swing here with the recent weather changes, but it’s been nice to enjoy some seasonal activities and see the colourful leaves falling from the trees… Plus, we got to enjoy an extra hour in bed this morning, courtesy of the clocks changing! 😄☕️🍂

Hope you’re all enjoying a lovely weekend. Your Baldertech team will be back in the office tomorrow, and we’re looking forward to another great week. 🥰

We had a great morning today with the whole team, joined by Adrian from Allient (Dynamic Controls), for a training session to discuss and demonstrate more of the possibilities offered by the technology we fit to our Balder chairs. 😄🦼

Keeping up to date with the latest developments is a vital part of our business, helping us provide the best possible service to our customers. ☺️

A big thank you to Adrian for visiting us - Some of you might even recognise him, as he sometimes pops in to see us at the exhibitions we visit! 👏
