Proud to be part of the amazing work happening at Base25.

Supporting young people has been one of the most rewarding parts of my counselling journey. Every young person deserves a safe space to be heard, understood and accepted.

We are continuing with our celebration of our volunteers during Volunteers' Week.

Meet Jordan.

Jordan started with Base 25 as a placement student counsellor and has stayed with us as a volunteer.
Jordan says "Since 2024, I have provided therapeutic support to young people through one-to-one counselling sessions, offering a safe, non-judgemental space to explore emotions, relationships, identity, challenges, and personal growth."

"I continue to volunteer in counselling placements and community wellbeing spaces because I believe meaningful human connection can have a real impact. Volunteering allows me to give back, continue learning, and support people who may not otherwise access therapeutic support".

Brum Circle is an in-person healing and support circle based in Birmingham, offering a grounded and welcoming space for adults to connect, reflect, and be supported.

The circle is open to people navigating grief, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, stress, addiction, loneliness, relationship difficulties, or simply wanting a deeper sense of connection and community.

Sessions include group reflection, nervous system regulation practices, grounding, breathwork, and therapeutic group work in a calm and inclusive environment.

The circle is facilitated by Jordan Quinn, founder of Brum Circle and Wild & Wise Group Therapy and a BACP-registered trainee counsellor currently completing a Level 5 Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling and Psychotherapy. Jordan has been facilitating healing circles and therapeutic group spaces since 2022 and brings a warm, trauma-informed, and person-centred approach to the work.

No experience is needed — just a willingness to show up as you are.

Tickets are intentionally kept accessible at £5, with donation options helping support free and reduced-cost spaces for others in the community.

Two circles. Two spaces. One intention, connection.

Tonight in Birmingham we’re holding our Women’s Healing Circle, hosted by Nisha from Inner Space Therapy.

This is a calm, supportive space for women to slow down, reflect, and connect in community. Drawing on the tradition of healing circles alongside modern therapeutic understanding, the evening offers a chance to step away from the noise of everyday life and simply arrive as you are.

There are just a couple of spaces left for tonight.

Then next Tuesday (17th March) we’ll be holding the Man Up Men’s Support Space, facilitated by Jordan Quinn and Dave Redfern.

This space is designed for men navigating life’s challenges — whether that’s change, pressure, relationships, fatherhood, identity, or simply the need for a place to talk openly alongside other men.

Both circles share the same intention:

Creating grounded, supportive spaces where people can be heard, seen, and supported.

Women’s Healing Circle – Birmingham

On International Women’s Day, it feels like a beautiful moment to share this upcoming space for women in Birmingham.

Next Tuesday we’ll be hosting a Women’s Healing Circle at:

This circle will be held by .innerspace , whose work supports women navigating anxiety, emotional burnout, life transitions, and the deep patterns that can form through years of holding everything together for others.

Together with Brum Circle, this evening has been created as a calm, grounded space for women to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and be held in community.

Drawing on the tradition of healing circles, blended with modern therapeutic understanding and nervous system awareness, the intention is simple:

A place to arrive exactly as you are.

This is a small group setting designed to feel safe, supportive, and spacious.

No experience is needed, just a willingness to come as you are.

Tomorrow evening we open our first Brum Circle of the year — stepping into our fourth year of holding this space in Birmingham.

Brum Circle is a grounded, confidential healing circle for adults.
A place to slow down, connect, and speak honestly about what’s really going on beneath the surface.

This space is for anyone navigating things like:

• stress or overwhelm
• anxiety or low mood
• relationships & identity
• life transitions
• grief or loss
• or simply feeling disconnected

You don’t need to have the right words.
You don’t need to be “fixed.”
You just need to show up as you are.

Each circle is gently facilitated by Jordan: A trauma-informed, integrative counselling practitioner in his final year of training, with several years’ experience holding therapeutic group spaces. His approach is grounded, relational, and focused on creating safe environments where people can slow down, reconnect, and be met with care and respect.
