Had a really honest conversation with a client the other day who I havenโt seen in about 6โ7 years.
We were talking about him getting booked in for a top-up, and I asked how life and work were going. He said things were goodโฆ but deep down he really wanted to start his own business ๐ฌ
The only thing holding him back was his ADHDโฆ and the fear of whether heโd be able to keep up or fall short.
That really stuck with me.
I opened up to him about my own ADHD. I was diagnosed around 4 years ago, and I wonโt lie โ Iโve got quite severe ADHD. Day-to-day life can be a challenge at times ๐
But when it comes to something youโre genuinely passionate aboutโฆ it flips everything ๐
For me, thatโs SMP. Itโs what I live and breathe. Even now, years later, after every treatment Iโm still zooming in on the smallest details thinking โhow can I make this better?โ ๐โจ
And thatโs the thingโฆ when you care that much, itโs not just โa jobโ anymore. It becomes obsession, growth, improvement, pride.
Yes, ADHD in normal life can be tough. But in the right environment, itโs also been one of the biggest driving forces behind my business ๐ญ๐ฅ
If youโve got the passion for somethingโฆ donโt let fear be the thing that stops you. Youโre capable of more than you think ๐ฏ
