Was honoured to be invited along to “experience Bodmin Differently event” today , through experience I was already aware of the many challenges that face wheelchair users and mobility scooters in the town, however trying to transit through The town wearing visual impairment glasses was an experience to say the least and made me far more aware of the challenges many people face that many of us take for granted. Was great to see so many people taking part that are in a position to make changes.

Thank you for inviting us

We have won awards here and been given plenty of recognition which is always really nice and greatly appreciated but was never the reason we started Equally Abled

Today is one of the reasons we love doing what we do and also one of the most privileged things I have ever been part of.

It’s really lovely to see and hear how the young people we are involved with progress and do well in their lives, however words can’t explain how lucky and privileged I felt when Tom asked us personally to go see his end of course presentation for his 2 year game development course, I was absolutely blown away by how much effort he has put into his project game which I got to have a go on. He thanked us for going but it is us that should be thanking him for inviting us as it was a real honour to be there.

Well done Tom and can’t wait to see what is next in your gaming journey when you are at university.

Today is a brilliant day - we are EquallyAbled ❤️
