Mobility first. Speed second. Strength third. In that order — every time.

Most people coming into Olympic lifting want to skip straight to loading the bar. It doesn’t work like that, and it never will.

If your body can’t get into the position, more weight just makes the bad position stronger. So we start with mobility — can you actually reach full extension, full overhead lockout, a real front rack, before we ask anything else of you.

Once the position’s there, we chase speed under the bar — getting fast and aggressive into the catch, not just strong. Speed is what turns a technically correct lift into a lift that actually works under load.

Strength is still being built the whole time — it never stops — but it sits in the background of this phase, not the front of it. Right now, that’s the exact order we’re working through with our lifters: mobility and bar speed are the focus, strength keeps climbing quietly underneath it.

This is the process. It’s slower than loading plates on week one. It’s also the only version of this that lasts.

Comment 1 if mobility’s your limiter, 2 if it’s speed, 3 if you know it’s strength holding you back.

Progress doesn’t come from doing random workouts and hoping for the best.

It comes from following a structured routine for long enough to let it work.

Our new 12-week Programme is designed to help members:

Build better movement
Develop measurable strength
Improve their fitness
Recover properly
Grow in confidence

Each phase builds on the last, leading into a testing week where members can see exactly how far they’ve come.

The results from our latest block included:

90% improving their back squat
90% improving their bench press
95% improving their clean and jerk
90% improving their front squat
80% improving their deadlift
75% improving their sn**ch

Some members added as much as 25kg to their lifts.

But the biggest result isn’t always the number on the bar.

It’s having the confidence to lift something you couldn’t before, the routine that keeps you turning up and a group of people supporting you along the way.

That’s how we build strength that lasts.

Massive well done to Eszter Azizi

Down a dress size. The lightest she’s been since having two children. And the strongest she’s been. 💪

This is what a transformation should look like.

Since May:

- Body weight: 68kg → 66.3kg
- Body fat: 15.6kg → 12kg
- Muscle mass: 48.1kg → 51kg
- Down a dress size

But here’s the part I really want people to pay attention to…

She’s eating 2,413 calories a day.

We’re not starving the weight off.

We’re fuelling her training, building muscle and creating a stronger, leaner body.

The scales have only moved 1.7kg.

If that was the only number we cared about, you could easily overlook just how much progress she’s actually made.

She’s lost 3.6kg of body fat while adding 2.9kg of muscle.

She’s now the lightest and smallest she’s been since having her two children — but importantly, she’s also the strongest she’s been.

That’s the goal.

Not simply weighing less.

Building a stronger, healthier and more capable body while still eating enough to fuel it.

This is why we coach the individual, track more than body weight and focus on progress that lasts.

Build Strength That Lasts.

You don’t need to build your life around the gym.

You need to build a routine that works with your life.

At VECTIS, that’s what we help our members create.

A routine that builds strength that lasts.

A routine that allows you to push hard when it’s time to train.

A routine that gives you enough structure to keep progressing.

But also a routine that leaves room for meals out, weekends away, drinks with friends and time with your family.

Because getting fitter shouldn’t mean putting the rest of your life on hold.

We’re not interested in quick fixes or going all-in for six weeks before falling back into old habits.

We want to help you find a way of training that you can still be doing years from now.

Train with purpose.
Get stronger.
Enjoy your life.
Keep showing up.

If you’re struggling to find that balance on your own, come and experience how we do things differently at VECTIS.

Build strength that lasts.

Every session is a choice.

A choice to turn up.
A choice to put the work in.
A choice to become stronger, fitter and more capable.

Not for a quick fix.

Not because every session is easy.

But because you’ve decided that improving yourself matters.

That’s what you see every day at Vectis.

Different ages.
Different abilities.
Different goals.

But the same mindset.

Show up. Train with purpose. Keep progressing.

Because the goal isn’t just to be fit today.

It’s to build strength that lasts.

This is Vectis. 💪

Two weddings. A World Cup. Plenty of drinks and late nights…

And Nick has still managed to do this in just 3 weeks 👇

⚖️ Body weight: 98.1kg → 97.3kg
⬇️ 0.8kg

🔥 Body fat: 24.7kg → 22kg
⬇️ 2.7kg

💪 Muscle mass: 67.7kg → 69.7kg
⬆️ 2kg

Nick is heading into week 4 of our 6 Week Transformation, and what I like most about these results is that life hasn’t stopped while he’s been doing it.

He’s had two weddings to attend.

He’s navigated the World Cup with drinks, late nights and everything that comes with it.

And we’ve never expected him to avoid any of it.

Because a successful transformation shouldn’t require you to put your social life on hold for six weeks.

We’ve focused on what Nick can control:

Consistent training.

Better nutrition around the social occasions.

Getting back on track afterwards.

And not letting one night out become a bad week.

The result?

2.7kg less body fat.
2kg more muscle.
Only 0.8kg difference on the scales.

Another great example of why the scales never tell the whole story.

And the best bit?

We’re only halfway through.

Three more weeks to see what we can achieve. 💪

This is what our 6 Week Transformation is about.

Not perfection.

Consistency, structure and progress that works around real life.

Build strength that lasts.
